I just had to go back and look at that chapter just now. A'Sun almost choked on his drink xD and then when he recalled their encounters his face went all red LOL

When Changge went missing (like episode 26-30 in the drama) they tried to look for her, both the Eagles and Qin Lao and Co. When they didn't find any young man of her description Qin Lao all of sudden decided to remember that they should probably be asking around for a young woman instead. A'Sun and Mujins reactions are priceless LOL

When I watched episode 35 raw I skipped a lot (cause I don't want to spoil precisely everything before the subs come out). So when I realized that it was Haodu that brought Shuyu to see Leyan I was like: "Oh no, Haodu, you didn't! Why do you have to be so sweet and precious? Why I ask you?!" And then I had a broken heart for a while. Haodu is such a darling.... Thank heavens he an Leyan have a happy ending.

And on a different note entirely, but same episode. The murder of Yaluo still gets to me, poor thing :'( I instinctively close my eyes every time I watch that scene....

I don't think I've enjoyed a c-drama like this since I watched Joy of Life like 2 years ago. And I definitely haven't been this obsessed with a drama in years. It's a true gem among Chinese dramas if you ask me. Good and engaging story, well-written and good paced, well-developed characters, slow burn romance, good action and fighting scenes, great music and good acting. I have so little to complain about it's ridiculous. xD

Agree with your point on Ma Shanshan. Did you watch episode 25/26? Shanshan had such a great scene there, where she describes how she's feeling. It was so sad :'( I hope they handle the follow up well, and not just let her be "miraculously" cured. She seems to have recovered somewhat by episode 26.

I started this without any expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Our OTP really have great chemistry! I too enjoyed the gaming parts, though it is of course totally unrealistic for them to get that deep of a connection only through a game. But it's a romcom, it's not supposed to be realistic, and I've seen even more ridiculous stories. As long as I'm enjoying it they can to whatever they like. xD

I think that was just a way of coaxing Leyan into forgiving Haodu. At least I didn't read anything else into it at the time. Was only after I saw some comments here that I found out there was another way of interpreting it. xD but hey, that's what this forum is for.

I actually think Shuyu rather likes Haodu, they're just two very different people, and therefore had a hard time getting along at first. I might even go as far as to say that there is a form of admiration there (after all, Haodu is basically everything Shuyu isn't), especially after it was noticeable that Haodu had started to change. I see no reason for Shuyu to speak up for Haodu if he doesn't at least have some basic respect and liking for him.

Hahaha, that one was extremely funny LOL but that one I could at least understand. They've been using a lot of words that I have no idea what they mean. I need to listen to what they're saying in Chinese to understand, and that's just wrong xD

I'm gonna defend Viki for once on this. It's not Viki that is slow, that's the release schedule set by Tencent. In fact, Viki releases the subbed episodes immediately upon release, which is unusual for them. This is because their teams aren't involved in the translation (as far as I know), they get them subbed from Tencent. Which in this case makes the translation not as good as it usually is.

Well, you're not entirely wrong. His character is supposed to be older than Changge, so his character and personality should be more mature and stable than that of a teenager under development, leaving less room for character development. And as you say, A'Sun was probably holding back on a lot of things, cause he had to be careful of what the Khan would think. On the other hand, getting the courage to start standing up more openly for your beliefes as A'Sun did, is still development. And Mujin did note that he changed, cause he would never have risked so much for anyone before meeting Changge. And I think he has gotten more understanding for the people of the central plains as well, which makes him willing to help both Changge and Tang in achieving a general peace, rather than continue to fight like the Khan might have preferred (and which is more of the style of the Turks). Just my 2 cents on the topic.
