Yeah, the younger brothers in this series really end up having a bad fate. Except for the bratty Crown Prince *face slap* his bad fate took some time to catch up.

These really are 2 great episodes, filled with good stuff. :) I've watched Leyan slap Haodu like 10 times, I feel it each time xD he did deserve it though, and is a good wake up call for him. It's amazing if you think about it. Leyan was really scared of him in the beginning, and now she even dares to slap him, in front of others no less.

After rewatching episodes 31-32 with subs, I want more Li Jing. Please let him show up in the last episodes as well. I loved his interactions with Sun.

Yes I understand that's why they changed her story, but that has nothing to do with A'Sun. I see no point in changing his story because of censorship. It would be more reasonable if it was because they didn't want the drama to be too long. Or they just couldn't make it fit into the story they wanted to tell. I just feel like it would have been more meaningful for the story if they didn't make A'Sun come from the central plains. For me, any contribution he makes to Tang would have been more meaningful and make more of an impact if he had been anything but from the central plains. But then again, this might not bother me at all in the end.

Ikr? Too bad. It's too bad they skipped A'Suns backstory as Khitan as well. While I do understand why they decided to change Changge's origin, I don't quite understand why they decided to also make A'Sun come from the central plains. But maybe they just felt like they didn't have any time to explore that. Anyway, the end result isnt bad.

I was glad we finally got to hear the whole story. And I liked the use of the manhua drawings for this particular scene. They've been a bit of a double edged sword this far, but for this scene they were actually prefect.

As I suspected, they didn't go that way at all. They're not related. She wanted to be the Mobei envoy to Tang, and when asked with what sort of identity she wanted to go, she said she wanted to go as the Kings younger sister, a Mobei princess. So he let's her assume that identity for the sake of the negotiations with Tang. In episode 40 she gets to hear her mother's backstory from Shuyu's dad, how she met Li Shimin and how she eventually ended up as Li Jiancheng's wife. They didn't go with the manhua backstory at all, so she's not Uighur here.

I know how you feel, I want Mujin and Mimi to have a happy ending. But I'm being mentally prepared for that not to happen....

Yes, the amazing OST is just one of the many reasons to love this series. And that BTS about the music was really nice.

Not sure there's an actual reason, other than we're all trying to keep ourselves occupied while waiting for the new episodes. It's sort like we're comforting each other, cause the wait is so tough on us LOL
