Re-watch value for NiF is ultra high as well. I remember after finishing it the first time I re-watched it immediately, and ever since I watch it least once a year, sometimes two. I've re-watched JoL a couple of times as well.

Best Chinese drama ever. So yes. :D and then don't miss Joy of Life, as mentioned by others as well. Only downside with these 2 is that you start comparing every other historical drama with them afterwards. xD

I'm your opposite then. xD I keep coming here, read a lot of spoilers (but not all), know how it ends (cause I was already pretty sure how it'd end anyway), participate in some discussions. But I haven't watched a single episode in days, neither subbed or raw LOL (been distracting myself with Miss Crow with Mister Lizard) I'm gonna see if I can keep myself from watching the last episodes raw, and wait for subs. As long as I'm working it's fine, but come the weekend, I'll most likely binge the rest anyway xD

I agree with the pacing it's one of the reasons I praise this drama so much. So many other drama fail in that department frustrating the audience by dragging out things way too long. This one really has a perfect balance.

We're working on reaching 20k by the time the last episode with subtitles air :D

Unfortunately no matter how much of a feast for the eyes it is, of the story is bad it just doesn't work for me. I value a good script/story above all.

I sort of skip through a raw every now and then on The Court Lady, watched only like 2 full episodes in the beginning. I can't say it catches my interest. It does seem to have gotten better from the first few episodes, but the plot feels a bit ridiculous, along with a couple of the characters. Seems Ike a very ordinary historical drama that introduces nothing new and uses way too many classic tropes. I sort of dislike how they wanted it to resemble Yanxi Palace in many ways (I dislike the BGM because of that). All in all, I feels poorly executed. So I most likely won't be watching that one.

Haven't finished TLB yet, but started watching Miss Crow with Mister Lizard and am enjoying it so far. Just like TLB it has a very nice OST.

Fang and Du were awesome together. Like a bickering old married couple at times. I totally agree on giving Fang (together with Du) more screentime.
