Episode 24: I'm a little bit confused. How does Tang Xu know Su Man Lin? Was trying their entire conversation to figure out how he knew all that about her and her feelings for Gu Chuan. Can't recall them knowing each other at all. I might have forgotten something along the way though. I mean, it's Tang Xu and Su Man Lin, my 2 least favorite characters after all. xD

Ikr! Was like this almost all the time :D At the same time, knowing that they're gonna be some angst coming soon, the scene with the lanterns tugged at my heart.

I just need to express my love for Xu Chengran. His character is absolutely amazing. So ridiculous, and yet unresistingly charming. The way he tries to court Zhao Yan is making me lol just about every episode. And his friendship with Gu Chuan is so heartwarming. I am however at the same time a bit grateful he doesnt exist in reality. That would be so tiresome xD

I've been slacking off here lately. Bit busy, and no energy to read through all comments that I miss out on. But I haven't started this week's subbed episodes yet, so I'll probably stick around (albeit not as frequently as before) for a little while longer. I'm watching Miss Crow with mr lizard as well. Once I'm done with those for the week I'll probably have a TLB marathon with the remaining episodes xD

Having Times Comments on for this drama on Viki has been extremely frustrating, I can imagine how it is for the last few episodes.... I've honestly actually considered shutting them off for TLB, cause the commentators negativity is so annoying.

Add to that that it is highly unlikely that the extra episodes are subbed. The pay per view episodes are usually only in Chinese.

Changge meets both him and Tujia on her way to Uyghur territory. She stayed with them for a bit. I needed to go double check the manhua, they mostly call him Irkin (of Xue yan tuo)

If you're favorite actor in this isn't Zhou Yiwei, then I might break off any relations with you here and now ;) lol yeah, the quality of that drama is outstanding, wish they'd make more dramas like that.

I'm watching Miss Crow with Mister Lizard, it's really good actually. Good chemistry between the leads, super sweet with a tinge of sadness always lurking in the background. And a really good OST. Unfortunately I have to wait for new episodes all the time so I still need to find me something else as well. But it's gonna be hard to find something as good as TLB for a loooooong time to come....

I've decided that if I ever get to go back in time, I wanna go to Tang dynasty, and Chang'an specifically. If you've also seen The longest day in Chang'an you can't help but to be fascinated. Not too interested in our ancestors the vikings, and I certainly wouldn't want to live in their time LOL
