They dub modern dramas as well. There are a number of reasons as to why they dub: noisy background (China is a noisy environment), saving time and money, actors own voice not considered suitable etc. This applies to both historical and modern dramas. You wanna hear more of YY you could check out You are my glory (modern drama), they used the actors real voices for that one. It's a good drama.

Episode 34: Actually a bit of a sweet moment between Baili and the King.
Something I started to wonder about already in the previous episode: if YWY is behind everything, including FLX mom's death, when on earth did he start plotting? When he was 8? Even if he's just making use of the situation, still, someone planted Wang as a spy with the long game in mind apparently.
So satisfying to see FLX show off his martial arts! Our man is back at 100%! 💪🏻

YWY on the other hand, deliberately using that poison on Master Bai to get BFX and HFX to go to the capital, that's a brilliant move actually (too bad everything else about Bai's death was anything but intelligent). HFX is gonna be so mad when he realizes that he's been manipulated all the way throughout this investigation.
This episode was A LOT better than the previous one. Thank heavens. I almost didn't wanna watch the new episodes today cause I was so put off by the episode yesterday... Glad to see there wasn't a totalt breakdown of the story.

I was curious about what dramas where the most commented ones. It felt huge when TLB surpassed The Untamed last year, and as comments kept increasing here I was reminded of that. Immortality having over 60k comments without even having aired is absolutely crazy 🤯 but I think we're doing quite well over here as well. No need to go overboard 😆

Well formulated. I've enjoyed the show immensely, despite certain flaws in plot. But the flaws haven't diminished my joy of watching the series. But episode 32 was just.... 🤦🏼♀️

Agreed. I felt like I was mostly complaining in my comments about the episode, but I feel almost a bit offended that I as a viewer have to disregard that many illogical things happening at once just to keep enjoying the show.
don't know really what to say about the episodes today. They were a bit of a disappointment compared to previous ones. I seriously couldn't feel anything at all regarding Master Bai's death. Not even very fond of BFX almost dying scene. Can't really put my finger on why. Maybe it all felt a bit... Forced? Rushed? And honestly, both of them ending up badly hurt and being unconscious for 3 days within such a short time frame is really cliché. And we can expect at least one more life threatening experience more before this is over. Wow, I'm really complaining here 😅 anyway, I hope tomorrow's episodes will deliver better. Altough I didn't haven any hopes up for getting a fully satisfactory non-rushed ending, but I don't want it to fall apart completely at the end.
