Okay, seriously. I am righteously pissed 😡 Langhua still hasn't changed, still acts like a child and keeps taking out her own insecurities on BFX. But seriously girl, if you would just stop and think for just 2 sec you'd realize just how stupid the idea och BFX killing your father is. And is no one wondering why YWY is just standing there in the middle saying nothing? The righteous YWY who cares for the people just keeps standing there not saying or interfering one least bit, does no one find that odd? 😑
And we've got the feeding them medicine with a kiss scene.... 🙄 Well I'm happy HFX got his inner force back at least. Even though I don't really appreciate the plot device that's was that flower. But hey, it's wuxia, and we all knew it was coming 🤷🏼♀️

Oh no, the return of the wicked witch of the west..... Honestly, no matter my dislike for the king, I still like his character a lot more than I do hers. The king isn't stupid at least, altough I have a few things to say about the way he treats his kids. But it is such a mystery to me why he keeps tolerating her and Feng Ju when he knows all of their misdeeds....
YWY is just going about his day happily unsuspected. Kinda out of character for HFX and BFX not to suspect him…
I agree. Even if they can't figure it all out, but they should at least be suspicious of him. Well, I suppose HFX actually is, but BFX seems to not suspect him the slightest.

The scenery for the first test 😍 and a really nice tune she played at that. I am just now realizing, where in earth has Huang Chao's general gone? It's been like, what, 20 episodes since we last saw him? Such a waste that we don't get to see him more. Also, I really thought Qingzhou was gonna send her brother. I must have dreamed that up 😅😂 but didn't all the states send someone? Is my memory that bad? 🤔 Altough seeing that Qingzhou and Youzhou aren't exactly on friendly terms it makes sense that they stay out of this marriage buisness.
Okay, honestly, the scriptwriters made a huge mistake here. It actually hasn't bothered me that HFX hasn't figured out that BFX is Xiyun. But that YWY figured it out with less information than HFX, and she doesn't even bother to feign ignorance, now that's just not fair.
Episode 29: Haha, the comments HCR's maid made about BFX 🤣 And HFX looks so proud and pleased with his girl 😄🥰 haha, BFX really does excel in making friends. "I'll teach you this, of you give me more good food" 😂
Wow, Chunran is just as cunning as HFX. A marriage between the two of them would be scary 😨 but I really like that there are so many intelligent women in this series who don't need to rely on men all the time. BFX, FQW, HCR. Really wish there were more series like this.
I also was very sad, because heard that story before, but they didn't show it.. and put all his efforts in vain,…
Yeah, I also felt like there were missing a few scenes here and there (mostly related to Master Bai, or it might just be that my memory is a bit bad). It really is tragic when you put so much effort in to a scene, and then it's cut to pieces.....

This father of Lanxi's is so..... I really have no words for it. Who needs family if that's what they're like? Even the kings attendant knows to feels sorry for Lanxi. This king does counts for nothing as a father. And yes, Your Lordship, you should be thankful Lanxi hasn't made a move on you. He's treated you way better than you deserve.... Lanxi 😭😭😭
I swear, I started to tear up the moment BFX started to talk to unconscious FLX. It was such a sweet scene, especially after he woke up 😭 Now it's our girl's turn to protect her man. On a sidenote: how on earth is it that a sick Yang Yang can look so ridiculously good? He looks soooo good with his hair down like that 😍

This was an emotional rollercoaster episode I have to say. As painful as it was to watch, but this is gonna be one of my favorite episodes I think, just because it managed to really engage me emotionally.

Almost felt like I couldn't keep up with what was happening there for a while. I had forgotten about Master Bai going to the imperial capital. Feels like they cut some scenes, cause I felt a bit confused there for a moment. How come Lanxi is careful not to make a wrong move, but the more experienced Master Bai decides to take matters into his own hands? No wonder Tianshuang end up in a bad situation a couple of episodes down the road....

I have to agree on this, I feel like I need to check out more c-dramas in this genre, cause the ones I've seen recently have been really good. Reset was amazing. Under the skin was also a really good watch.
Is that drama classified as an idol drama? (well I suppose compared to this it is 😅Well, both Lin Gengxin and Tan Songyun who play the main CP aren't exactly new in the industry, and they are very popular. I don't think it's that strange that they got a prime time. (I like both of those actors, but am not currently following that drama since it doesn't seem to be my cup of tea). That's just the Chinese entertainment industry for you, someone thought that show would attract more viewers (which equals more money) and so they got the prime time spot. I'm gonna guess also that the romance genre is way more popular than crime drama (unfortunately), so that probably factored in as well.
