Honestly with these 2, they might not even need to make it official. Everyone around them already knows 😂 the fact that she knew he wanted to confess to her, and afterwards she keeps sticking to him is almost confirmation enough for me. 😄

No one calls her Xiyun (well, I suppose her brother will, but that's it). It's a thing the translators do, instead of translating something like "fellow disciple older sister" they insert her namne instead. Makes no sense. They should have translated it to Fengxi at least, and not Xiyun, since that's the name they know her by. But they do the same with the princes and FLX. They usually refer to one another as "big brother" or "3rd younger brother", but usually it's translated into just their name. Either way, there's no doubt that her master knows her background, but I don't think the rest do.

Episode 24:
"So it's a temple for relationships and romance? What do you want from it?" and a protective charm from the deity of romance 🥰 I'm gonna claim that these 2 are a couple now, even without any official love confessions.

Today's episodes were a breeze of fresh air, leaving behind the politics of the palace in Yongzhou. Not that I've actually disliked that part, as many others here seem to have, but a change of pace and scenery did this show good. Now let's see how long it'll take for out dear fox to figure out just exactly who his dear beloved really is. 😉

I'm curious about his reasoning for that as well. But he and BFX seem to have no problems with each other, so I'm guessing they might have some sort of agenda aside from the marriage contest. Maybe they're looking into YWY and HC? Looks like her brother is there as well.

Episode 23:
Master Bai answered Chancellor Ren just they way I expected him to. Go Shifu! Loved the way BFX handled it, and that Ren is a reasonable man.

Nooooooo! Don't interrupt them! 😫

Oh, Xiyun's brother enters the stage again, causing some trouble for Yongzhou. Might forgive them for interrupting the confession then. If it moves the plot forward, then I'll be happy.

And YWY's plan is set into motion, as expected. I knew this was the reason the king found out.

The cliff falling apart scene..... 🤦🏼‍♀️ Yeah, not too impressed by the CGI there, but okay. At least we got some action. FLX showing us how good of a leader he is. And while there isn't a huge progress in the romance, it's still definitely progress. BFX isn't avoiding him, and while they're not officially together, but she knows what he wants, and still went to him to travel together rather than going separatly, so she's basically reciprocated his feelings. I'll take it for now. 😄 And she's a good advisor too. 👌🏻

Haha, yep. I mean, they only take like 2 minutes to watch, so I might just as well satisfy my curiosity first, and then I can enjoy the episodes 😄

Previews for 29 and 30 look so interesting! Finally leaving Yongzhou. But I have so many questions. Why is HFX even participating in the contest for Princess Chunran, when he's clearly decided he wants BFX? And why does YWY say HFX has no inner force? Were clearly in for a ride next week. Can't wait!

About the king finding out: feels like that's YWY and 3rd prince plan. So it's not that he "easily" finds out, he's being led to find out.

Episode 22:
A dream sequence 🙄😑 Honestly, I'm thankful that wasn't the real confession. Way too cheesy. Oh so cheesy... 🥴

So much preparation for this confession. Of course it's not gonna work 😆 Therese 2 sound like an old married couple even before they're officially together. 😅 I love that she comments on the whole situation and calls it "cliché". "It's never gonna work." Poor poor Lanxi. Good thing he's got some good helpers. 😊

Huan 姑娘 🤦🏼‍♀️ at least they're not using the old "the jealous maid who's in love with her master tries to harm FL" trope. Just trying to break them up is pretty innocent if you ask me, even though she has no authority to interfere at all.

2 great and fun episodes. But I'm sending a dragging of the plot here. Hope they speed things up in tomorrows episodes.

Episode 21:
Poor FLX, so jealous of BFX and her new bestie. So fun to watch 😂

And they're pretending to be an eloped married couple?! Oh this is bound to be good! That sob story of hers, she tells it so badly, I'm amazed anyone believes her 😂

Both are based on novels from the same author. But they're not connected in any other way, they don't even depict the same time period. So feel free to watch them in any order you like 😊

He said he could only use it temporarily to suppress the blood curse, not sure if the still has the Sacred Jade Moon, or if he used it up, but I'm guessing the later (otherwise he could just continue to use it to surpress the curse I guess?)

BFX doesn't apply the rule of letting love rivals die by doing nothing 😆 not that Qiwu is a love rival, but still. FLX is so disappointed she doesn't show any jealousy. These 2 aren't on the same page yet 😂 the way he insists that they need to stick to each other "for safety reasons" 🤣 and then BFX and FQW becoming besties in like 2 seconds, gold!

Episode 19:
I'm making it official: Prince Chang gets my vote for VIP of this show. He has his faults, but the love he has for Lanxi ❤️ I'm begging the writers to not give him a tragic ending 🙏🏻
Also, the uncle gets more and more points from me as well.

Haha, BFX really doesn't want to face the reality of their feelings for each other and keeps running away. But she was so sweet with the clay dolls, she'd buy them all for him if it made him feel better. 🥰

Well, the master doesn't know HFX is FLX, That changes things. Though I don't think the master is gonna try very hard, if at all, to break them apart. They're adults, and I think he respects their decisions.

He didn't know what exactly was gonna happen, but he knew they'd make a move on Lanxi. He doesn't want to be used by his mother to scheme against Lanxi. I'm not sure if he was hoping to die, or if just seeming to be a victim in the whole affair was good enough for him. But as sakie said, it's probably to get them to start an investigation. I think he just wants to make sure that Lanxi doesn't end up being blamed for it.
