Well, this is sort of the sequel, so I'd say you should watch OaO first. There are a lot of references to OaO, and you'll miss out on some of the meaning behind if you haven't first watched that one.

Not sure that girl deserved that karma though. Or is it Mei Xing's bad karma spilling over?

I love My Heroic Husband! Good recommendation, especially for JoL fans 😄 I watched The Imperial Coroner after TLB, and it was actually really good. More low budget, no famous actors, and a bit of a detective story. But the plot was good, not full of cliches, light and humurous. If one wants more Allen Fang (and more kisses 😆), The Love by Hypnotic is a good choice. Not sure if there's anything out there that can be classified as "very similar" to TLB though 😅

Haha, not really. I've seen Reba in plenty of dramas before, both historical and modern. 😄

One of the best things with this drama is the lack of the usual tropes, such as evil 2nd leads, and best friends that betray each other, or long dragged out misunderstandings etc. It's a very healthy drama compared to most c-dramas 😄

I have to say, I'm a bit surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this one. I finished all 18 episodes in 3 days (would probably have done it faster if I didn't have to work 8 hours a day as well 😆). Now I'm back to waiting 😩 (why oh why do I start dramas that aren't finished?) can't say it's anything special really, but it was such an easy watch. I love dramas where the love is allowed to develop naturally, and it's so refreshing to see a mature couple. It's not cringy, not full of the usual romcom tropes. And I think both Reba and Yang Yang are doing a great job. Also, An Ge! I always enjoy his characters. Doesn't matter that it's only a small part here, I get all smiles whenever I see him anyway 😄 hope it can keep up the good pace and finish on a strong note.

Oh I use VPN a lot, so there's no problem for me to use it. But if it's just for TLB I don't think they're that interested in using one. I mean, they only have about 10 episodes left so 😅 but thanks for the tip.

I was looking at a couple of chapters in the manhua today, to show my friend a couple of things. It struck me just how small Changge is there. But then again, he is what, 7 years older than her? And a warrior at that. But it'd sort of forgotten how small she was.

If you want more historical drama and Leo Wu, then I'd recommend Nirvana in Fire. A lot of us who watch c-drama think it's the best one out there. Altough Leo is just 15 in that one, but his character is priceless. Glad you enjoyed TLB, it really is a good drama to start of with if you wanna watch c-drama. Altough it's a bit hard to find dramas that are just as good. 😅
