Sort of miss the good old days when everyone was super engaged. Although it was extremely tiring. xD it's good to see some familiar names still around at least.

Yeah, really hoping it makes it all the way to Netflix Sweden as well. Nothing is ever guaranteed though. But here's to hope!

I exhausted myself in this forum during TLB's run, I didn't have any strength left to keep up with all of you here afterwards. LOL but since I'm doing a rewatch I might check in a bit more. We're not writing 1000 post each day either, so I might actually have time to read your posts also ;) TLB deserves all the watchers it can get! Hope it comes to Netflix so my fellow Swedes can watch it. :D

Hello everyone! Been a while since I dropped by. I just wanted to share with you what happened recently when I introduced TLB to my best friend and her husband. She's watched some of NiF with me before, but since we live in different towns (and the pandemic) we never seem to finish it. Her husband has never seen an Asian drama. He's usually quite restless, watch an episode or two is okay, but no more. And not too late either, since he usually goes to bed around 8 or 9 xD anyway, I visited them last week, and we watched episode 1 together. It peaked their interest enough to have them continue watching after I left. Now, a week later, they're binging like 8 eps a day. She's searching the internet for every clip there is, no matter if it's English sub or not. And when she's not watching the series, she's listening to the music. And the one who keeps pushing them to watch "just one more episode", keeping them up til like midnight? The husband. xD I started rewatching it as well, but I can't keep up with their pace, cause I've got work and they're on vacation LOL it is so funny to see someone else being just as into TLB as I was when it aired. And I feel soooo pleased with myself that introduced it to them. :D TLB sure is an amazing series.

My conclusion after finishing S3: Being Chengcheng's older brother is the cruelest fate in all of the universes, the second one being in love with said older brother. These 2 characters just cannot catch a break. Changing to two completely new characters didn't help either. Poor sweet Yanchen.... The people on the other side of that stick would be the ever loyal and faithful servants Jin Xin and Yu Hao. They seem to always end up without even the slightest of scratches.

Overall S3 was a good story, loved the costumes and the reverse role of a universe. Adding Qu Xiangtan was a good move of you ask me. I liked Xiao Zhen's character as well, just a pity he was there only to be sacrificed.

A concluding question: what on earth will now happen in the Dongyue they just left? They pretty much left it in utter chaos. Most of the Mo family are dead, the Emperor is dead, the oldest princess is dead, so no heir to the throne. Then there's all of the new policies that were put in place, now the ones responsible for them are nowhere to be found. Who's gonna clean up all that mess? And how much of a mess can Yu'er create? xD

The FastTrack episodes are almost never subbed though.

I agree. Please let the older brother have a happy ending this time around! It would be nice if we could avoid him going full evil. But I'm expecting them to be enemies at some point. But as of now, we don't know.

I re-watch dramas all the time. My all time favorite, Nirvana in Fire, I've watched at least 7 times. I have however not gotten around to round 2 of TLB yet. Gonna give it a rest first, maybe in a month or two I'll re-watch it. It depends on what other dramas I follow, if there are any good to follow at all. But I know for certain I will re-watch TLB many times. My favorites I usually watch at least once a year xD

I think it's denial more than not noticing. He's afraid of noticing it to the point where he has to accept that she's gone. He's not mentally prepared for that. And also, it's not as if peoples souls get replaced every day, so there's no logical explanation for what's going on at this point for him either. I honestly think they should have told him the truth a long time ago. But I guess I can understand the reluctance as well, he seems very fragile... Not that he's been willing to listen to them these last few episodes... Hope he toughens up a bit without actually turning evil (cause seriously, do we have to take that path one more time as well?)

I was almost gonna say that I'm not sure it had a Mount Everest but then I thought it might have been the fight in Liuyun temple, with Li Jing directing from the outside, and then awesome A'Sun and Changge on the inside. And then add some Langlang to that and it's just prefect. And Du Ruhui FINALLY understanding that Changge is not a threat. Yeah, so that whole sequence might have been a Mount Everest for me. But, when A'Sun fought She'er for Changge, and then the following sad scene when he was drowning his sorrow with the Khan's wine over Changge's choice to go back to She'er is also a peak. Such good acting.

Aww, that's sweet of you. I just don't have the time or the strength to keep up with you all here. Life has to move on. Or, one has to try to make it move on at least xD I plan to check in every now and then, but if y'all gonna keep up posting like this I'm still gonna end up missing 90 % LOL

I love a good historical drama, and this is one of the best I've seen in a long time. It has actual history as a background, which I like, so I can learn something in the process. The characters are great, especially the main ones. The character development is so good, and their actions and decisions make sense (even though we may sometimes think they're wrong or of they may frustrate us), cause they're all in line with the characters personalities and backgrounds. There is no drama added just for dramas sake, no unnecessary misunderstandings, no over the top jealously, no third wheels that try to break up the couples. In short, they've skipped out on a lot of the usual tropes, and it it soooo refreshing! The OST and BGM is extremely good. Action sequences are well-choreographed. It's a well-made, well-directed and well-paced story that many of us will watch many times over.

Pass on the question about novels. I think it's based on some novel from the beginning, but can't quite remember. I think it's hilarious that Cheng Cheng reverts back to Mo Lian Cheng every time he's managed to surface and proceeds to kiss Tan'er. It's like the universe felt offended by all of their kissing before and now decided to punish them for it xD so yeah, there's an actual chance that there might be some other point to this story this season other than them having great chemistry and always kissing.
