Politely. I speak Mandarin and Korean but not Japanese. I presume the same. You can tell jokes in formal speech you know and still be polite. My mind boggles but yes I've heard of plenty of stories of wives using formal speech. There is this running joke which is the truth where the couple cannot fart in front of each other. And stories of women who go outside to fart.
Anyway. Enough on the subject. Just bear with it instead of dwelling on it.

Guess you haven't heard of couples who speak formally to each other. I heard it happens in the previous generation. I say this not as an overseas fan but more cultural comments from my Korean and Japanese acquaintances.
I’m fine don’t worry you can start to watch the drama. You will just laugh at the things I’m commenting…
That's nuts then as a Captain is usually in charge of men. You can't go wandering off. His NCOs or lieutenant have to file a complaint but its going to be difficult to do. There should be a Major or Colonel on top of him. Special Force units are small anyway so people know everyone. I presume the General would know.
@Enigma05- are you ok there? You sound as if you're about to have a coronary.
I am actually not going to start this drama based on your comment. If its that choppy and idiotic. I have other shows to watch.
Since I am not watching I cannot comment on the typhoon and painting scene. What is that guy's rank? You need to have a direct order to actually be accused of insubordination. So I can't comment. I do know I couldn't actually disobey a direct order and my Captain was a guy on an ego trip. I was newly commissioned then. I think I complained to the Major instead. Couldn't stand that guy.
why you all you rate this drama so low like in the review you can see people rate it so low
Plot. The acting is phenomenal. However the story progression is improbable and we are used to unrealistic plots in Kdramas buts it not only bad it makes your heart feel heartsick. And oh yes the medical aspect for a diagnosis is making me angry. We have a lot of athletes here who actually suffer the consequences of the diagnosis or alluded diagnosis so the reality of that makes it hard for me to watch. We just had a set of twin brothers suffer deaths within 6 months of each other. 4 brothers who played the same sport.
But at the end of the day when the writing is bad it is just bad for the storyline. Good acting doesn't trump good writing for me.
I was naively hoping the cheating scenes would be changed somehow but when I saw the damn incense I knew 😭…
Which episode please? I stopped at ep 17 and waiting for the angst to end but might see this cheating scene everyone is talking about. I don't know what's it about but will watch it. Then go back to waiting till a more dramatic development happens.
Its always been dumb. It kept getting worse but because its harmless its my filler drama. To be really honest…
I like the actor and the singer. The acting- at least he sticks to his strong points in acting. That is an older drama. I think I watched it already. I used to be a 2AM fan but caught a few 2PM songs because they all went into acting
Its always been dumb. It kept getting worse but because its harmless its my filler drama. To be really honest I have followed both their Kpop career. They are both not strong actors. Seohyun is my favourite member in SNSD so for the life of me can't work out why she keeps continuing. I have followed her dramas all these years. I now understand the torture.
So yeah I'd keep watching. Everyone needs to be forgiven for their brain fart moments. I just spent 7 hours yesterday being a serious professional at work listening to interdepartment updates and looking at architects proposals.
So I will excuse myself to watch forced acting, stupid plots and squealing females. The Seon Cheak does way too much squealing.
I think they hired real divers for this scene so they didn't have to act.
Yes that was good. I started it late purposely so I could marathon it. I started Continuing the dream yesterday. It was good so I purposely stopped halfway through episode 2 so I could marathon it once more episodes airs. The stupid brother was irritating me already. I love the main couple.
I had to stop at ep 17 otherwise I wouldn't be able to sleep. Geez this script is giving me sleepless nights. If only I didst have an 8hr planning meeting tomorrow I'd marathon some dramas tonight. How did it all turn so serious?
I actually wondering what dramas are ok. I know I know. Anne of Green Gables. What? I am not being sarcastic. Its one of my favourite series.
Anyway. Enough on the subject. Just bear with it instead of dwelling on it.

Once you're focused on it then one can be obsessed. Mine are army scenes since I was in it.
How can Marines who have to pass basic training then Marine training not know how to do that?
So are you recommending me to start? I have put " A dream within a dream and The Princess Gambit " on hold. Not liking the story progression.
I am looking for a new drama otherwise going back to School 2021.
Should I hold off till it becomes optimistic again?
