Because they introduced new relationship lines with just 4 episodes left. They will need to wrap up at supersonic speed or kill them all in an explosion if its only 2 seasons.
You may not agree with me but...One big problem between Yoo Shin and Pi Young was the lack of frank communication.…
VIP did a great job with casting! The actors/actresses matched their roles to a T making the production a lot of evocative.
Yesterday it felt like they were talking AT each other rather than talking to each other. It sounded like 2 conversations were going on. I don't think it was matured of the doctor to compare other forgiving wives. Like how some people have different alcohol tolerance level, some people are able to look past cheating a lot easier than others and SPY was just frank about how she's one of those who finds it harder to look past it. I don't see why they can't get divorced first and then he can win her back as I find that's a better proof of sincerity ( like My Daughter Soo Yeong )
I'm trying to get hints on whats the storyline for Si Meng but I'm not seeing enough of Si Meng in the opening and ending credits of the drama to get an idea.
Feng Xi's storyline seems clear enough - though i think i'm genetically repulsed by her character type.
1. Si Eun still holds a flame for the husband. Everytime he appears I swear she goes into an even more 'xiao nu ren' ( small woman) mode and if he ever suggested reconciliation she'd consent in an instant 2. Seo Ban is really......boring..... he looks mysterious at best due to his imposing built, deep voice, and limited word count...... but after he unloaded to Song Won all that mystery vanished. With this, I think Si Eun and him will make a really uninspiring pair. I find that they are at different phases in life...Si Eun if she'd date at all again, would make a better pair with someone who has experienced similar seasons of life as she has and share that desire for a quiet simple family life. Seo Ban has a strong air of bachelorhood with a burgeoning desire to discover otherwise with someone special whereas Si Eun is too far down the path already. 3. Seo Ban had hearts in his eyes when he met Song Won the 2nd time and she had a Song Won moment - demonstrating empathy and wisdom, speaking into his heart and her face filled up 80% of the screen 4. Dr Shin is a typical MCP that feels as long as he treats his wife really well F2F he doesn't understand why it cannot go on and what has he done wrong. His brand of MCP-ness is actually very prevalent in traditional societies just that most married men don't have the attributes/ social standing that leaves them looking all that attractive to other single women. I used to have a driver who told me very earnestly that as long as he eventually goes back to his wife ( and he will because she takes care of him best ) there is nothing wrong with 'going out there' a bit . He genuinely believes he did right by being nice to her and going back to her regardless. Fortunately he didn't see my horrified expression whilst his eyes were on the road.
All the women who are on Song Wong's side please answer my question. Would you ask a married guy who is interested…
I'm not on SW or HR's or SH's side so I'll respond to you by adding fuel to fire lol
This bit is really odd. I understand pure lust and throwing caution to the wind. But if one of my girlfriends were to say said that they slept with someone ( marital status irrelevant) to repel them , I'd think she was on drugs. If Song Won came up with that reasoning then she slept with Sa Hun in a rather rationale fashion? You don't sleep with someone to help them get over you ( i'm quite cynical....men can get excited from seeing so much as a bra strap so I really don't know what sort of a marital experience Song Won has had to be this naive, and we all know its harder to get over someone you've slept with than otherwise right ) .... you...ghost them... change phone number, tell them NO. Chul-tey An-Duay.
It may be a cultural thing but I'd not invite my married male friend up to my apartment for dinner without the wife coming along. In fact even back as an adolescent I've had boundaries with non-single male friends eg . no initiating texts/phonecalls/ solo outings/ and definitely no discussing their personal relationship issues. They can bounce female perspectives off me and I'd make some quick suggestions to end the topic. The conversational topics were a bit too seogating styled in their multiple pre-sexual relations dinners together. With this I find i'm unable to support SW given her age and experience. In freudian terms, her id and superego is clashing very badly and her ego hasn't done its job.
Can we discuss the ghost please? I need answers! What is his purpose in the drama at this point? Is the writer…
I have by now absolutely no hypothesis about the role of the ghost. I do have some opinions ( i.e gripe) about the airtime given :-
# 1 _ He's really gross to look at. Even the presence of a hunk at the pool couldn't sequester his unsightly behaviour #2 - If its to give further insight into the ghost's inner character i.e while he was flesh and blood he had to restrain his lecherous self but now without people being able to see him, this is his true nature......well, not like any of us really found him endearing... he is pretty cliched as a rich man with a young actress wife.... would have already pegged him as 'that sort' right?
I didn't quite like this compared to the lost tomb installation but there are comparative pros and cons
Pros 1. Shorter, more straightforward, one single raid destination 2. More gore element 3, Interesting horror elements 4. If you're a fan of the main leads haha
Cons 1. Less intricate in the art of tomb raiding. I must say they were just really bad at it. 2. Episodes were dedicated to 'monster' fighting so much that the title should be something like Monsters in the tomb : Too Time Consuming 3. Attempted romance that were just weird and abrupt
I want to look at Nothing But Thirty next but I have a hard time sticking with any series that’s over 25 episodes.…
I enjoyed Nothing But Thirty too. Its got 30% of Sky Castle and a touch of this. 25 epis in chinese drama is considered 'a light watch'. In time to come they probably should learn to concise pacing like korean dramas.
I hope that Song Won realises now that Pan Sa-hyun is nothing but an immature, selfish mama's boy who only cares…
I'm not sure whether it was a manifestation of the actress' psyche or song won herself, but I swear she almost rolled her eyes when Sa Hun mentioned fortune telling consultation lol
I feel that him sacrificing himself is pointless. She will suffer and is suffering anyway. She has lost who are…
They ALL should have disclosed everything to each other, looked at the state of play and strategize. Otherwise they are all running around alone doing secretly sacrificial things which results in more mess. This sacrificial silence has a precedent of failure. Haven't they learnt? Tianqi sacrificed himself 60k years ago out of ignorance, resulting in Yuemi's senseless death as an indirect result of his decision. Then the whole recent wedding of Bai Que with the princess.... there was still an emotional showdown, he didn't manage to prove anything to the villains and didn't prove anything to his lover/comrades. Probably sped up Wu Huan's cultivation resolve if anything. So as a result of sacrificial silence again, Gu Jun died.....
As far as I'm concerned all Mu Guang and Bai Jue did is to buy Wu Huan time to cultivate and increase her powers. Once she obliterates everyone relevant even if Bai Jue sacrifices himself to protect the realm.....what realm is he protecting if everyone else dies. In all likelihood Wu Huan would have obliterated Shanggu too regardless of Bai Jue's sacrifice. I can't see through his strategy here.
As for Mu Guang....I don't think he ever had cognitive abilities to begin with.
Ooohh epi 10 is by far my fav so far. Went very well with a tub of ice cream!
SPY was swift and sharp. All this while I gave her less credit than she deserved. She passed the pressure cooker test with flying colours ( I hope it doesn't unravel in epi. 11 ) Her husband must take her for a moron. What sort of older brother figure gifts a Mercedes to a non relative. Sometimes you'd be lucky to wrangle a meal out of your own biological brother.
I'm wondering what is the husband's intention wrt buying a few years away from the mistress. Adolescent angst definitely doesn't last 2 years. More like 5 years at least. Also, if he wants to maintain the daughters respect he'd have to maintain the marriage till she graduates, if not at least until she is herself married.
Its a fun ride for us audience! The drama discussions can get a bit rough since cheating is a sensitive topic and we don't all share the same moral compass. I have to admit I didnt' comb through every episode because I prefer the evocative bits so perhaps you can fast track your watching too.
I think I enjoyed only the first quarter of this drama. The plotline and FL's personality is too retro for 2021. Would have blended in perfectly for dramas 20 years ago.

I kinda like the non-communication in the Untamed though...adds to the tension between the MLs...lolol
Well I guess this is all pre-destined.
