1 episode a week format is the worst. Followed by the one that had an episode every 3 days. Regardless its still better than following an anime for 20 mins every week for 10 years....you'd have dated a bit, got married. had kids, bought a house and changed several jobs...and it hasn't ended yet
This drama is quite a gem, the actor and actresses are not A list but their acting is a lot of natural than some A listers! - the child actor and actresses are really good! I found myself relishing the script as well!
Sadly for me this drama became boring the moment it went 2 episodes past the climax, The emotional changes were too abrupt and unconvincing so much so the only way I could explain it is that the FL had Stockholm syndrome whilst the ML is just ....obsessed and confused all the way through. I enjoyed the early episodes though.

Maybe blaming the 3rd party is the easier way out of acknowledging what may be uglier truths? Compare these 2 schools of thought:
A. This hoe/skank etc came along and seduced my partner with schemes and persistence. My partner used to love me and our relationship was great vs B. Oh...didn't take much for my partner to betray me...our relationship isn't that special after all, my partner loved me way less than I thought.
Believing A hurts the ego less. Also from a solutions perspective, believing A can still allow the relationship to be salvaged. B would threaten the fundamentals of the relationship.
Women do behave like well-packaged men is a scarce resource or something so there's a need to fight for it lol. Men are a lot less choosy so women to them are more like commodities and there's enough to go around? Actually in my circle, amongst the millennials, infidelity is more rife amongst women then men so this drama is clearly not based on empirical evidence. I would be interested in more husband-as-protagonist infidelity dramas by male scriptwriters to see their take on the topic!

If Hye Ryung's key message to the media during the press conference is " i'm getting a divorce because I cannot conceive. My husband will be having a child with someone else" - it won't really result in anything right since both her husband and Song Won are not influential people. On the other hand it would really impact HR negatively if she ever wants to date again - lots of hurdles for women with fertility issues in such a conservative society. Lol the bathtub hug almost made me puke. The doctor is rather slutty i must say. I found this episode a bit weak and the post mortem between the 3 wives were kind of dull for me.
3 more episodes to finale is too short to close the loop but another 16 episode season feels too long! I cannot imagine what sort of fillers await us if that were the case. I guess the last 3 episodes will open up additional subplots and relationship lines.
I just skipped a couple of the last few episodes and went straight to the end just so I can mark this drama as completed. Its quite bad for a melodrama not to leave me waiting for new episodes and my curiosity has died after epi 15. It really had so much more potential if they took more risks with the drama. I find Shawn Dou to have quite low on luck in dramas after princess agent. Legend of Xiao Chou fell flat, 10 years later fell flat, another one the title of which fails me also fell flat. Is it just his hotness that is propping up his fame the past several years?
