I've not been able to find anything anywhere confirming that a second season was even written, but apparently they have the cast confirmed? Will it be shot, can it make it through the censors, will it air? We may never know! lol
The writer hinted at for a few episodes and then eventually brought in the clingy obsessed pathetic delusional…
I ended up being wrong about the way the ML and his dad reconciled but honestly their animosity made sense, ML blamed his mother's best friend for upsetting his mother and making her drive recklessly which led to her death. His dad then marries that woman a few years later. Of course ML's going to be upset!! Also his dad never accepted that his son had an actual medical condition caused by his anger, grief, and misunderstandings of the situation.
The only thing that gets cleared up during their reconciliation is the misunderstanding...the dad never apologizes for doubting his son's medical condition, for slapping him all the time, ect ect.
The reconciliation of the ML and his dad made zero sense except that someone told the writer they had to make the parent/son bond and get over the last 23 episodes of hate and they needed to make it fit in a 10 minute or less scene. smh. ugh! Horrible writing, horrible directing.
I think people who have read the webtoon share your view: the premise is stupid (but apparently the webtoon is…
yeah I think after Secretary Kim she got seen as wow she can really do this type of role justice and then they didn't want her to be anything other than a "professional and elegant" type of character. I hope she can be a little more regular but we'll see if she ends up very put together 24/7 or if she be a normal woman.
The writer hinted at for a few episodes and then eventually brought in the clingy obsessed pathetic delusional third wheel who was never in a relationship but chased after ML who had zero interest in her. In my opinion it killed the fluffy romcom vibe that this drama had going with it and tried to make it suddenly into a cut throat business drama with super low lead-in on that. There were a few moments spread throughout the first 20 episodes that kind of hinted there would be a big sabotage moment for the company that ML owned but honestly it just took over the entire narrative and became the focal point and the "reason" behind the ML and FL breaking up.
With only 4 episodes left you after the big drama in the company happens you don't even have to watch it to know how it will play out. First everything falls apart, then ML or FL will solve the crisis, then they overtake the villain and trap them in their own evil doing, then company is saved, main couple get back together, side couples reconcile and get together, parental relationship is mended due to an illness or something and then happy ever after. End of the drama.
The problem is not that it's super predictable at this point, the problem is that there is a severe lack of fire and passion in the kisses between literally every single couple. I could say it was an actors problem if it was one or two actors, but this has 3 couples and ALL their kisses are statue kisses...this is a director making a bad decision problem. Someone must have mentioned it to the director in the last year or so, because I've seen almost every one of the things he's done and only the very last one that he directed in 2023 had really good kisses, every single drama before that was statue kisses that barely registered as romance.
I'd jump for joy at getting a second chance, screw revenge, I'd make the most of it and meet new people - like…
Just have to hope maybe have some strong memories about a good location to invest in realty or a company that has an IPO to get in on the ground floor, or remember the lotto numbers for a specific draw. lol. Forget revenge, I'm gonna get filthy rich and live my best life :P
The FL in this story shares your views, which is why she does not plan to marry him again. She wants revenge against…
I wondered if that was the direction they'd take it. Sounds like they won't even know what is coming and they won't know why she's mad at them? lol I love it!
I'm having a good time watching Our Blooming Youth, though I suspect heartache and tears are probably coming next week or the following one...for now though it's entertaining and fun. Idk why domestic audiences are so hard to please.
Wonderfully done, I'd put it up above The Sword and Brocade (one of my favs!) but below The Story of Minglan or Yanxi Palace, when it comes to recent period pieces this still ranks pretty high.
It did take me a few episodes to connect with the ML because of his youthful and inexperienced nature but he did grow up quite a bit, and occasionally they would let his youth show through with being silly with his wife or being playful when the occasion allowed. Overall a really nice drama and at 43 episodes it felt well rounded with only one or two times I might have tweaked the story a little bit.
so does FL end up paralyzed ?? need spoiler before i start watching !!!
There's no magic cure in this drama, but they also don't show you what is inevitable. If you want to know if they show her in a wheelchair or bedbound in the final episode, they don't do that.
Amazing drama, only 4 episodes, you can binge it over the weekend. It deals with a lot ranging from bullying, sick kids, dealing with grief, deadbeat mom, toxic fan culture, anxiety, ptsd, but also love, hope, recovery, and joy. The best thing I can say is that it doesn't just have a happy ending, it has one that is satisfying and makes sense. It's gooey and I loved it. I cried all the types of tears watching this, the sad, the understanding, the happy, and the hopeful.
Everybody loves La Mu (it seems) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...I think one of the (many) strengths of this drama is that it…
My dear beloved Fiery, I'll never forget him and his adorable little dorky smile, his unabashed joy, and his limitless love for Ye Tan. He may not have been book smart but he had a freaking heart of gold <3
Episode 6 shows the plot is getting more complicated but at the same time it's getting more and more interesting.…
Also I have to say, I really enjoy that the ML who is "all powerful" can't just magically cure mental hurts and ills. I feel like it's a more accurate representation of anxiety, depression, and other issues. If you have a wound you can bandage it and your body will heal on its own over time, but if you have a wound to your emotions, there is no one size fits all cure and your mind doesn't always cure that or even deal with it appropriately.
Episode 6 shows the plot is getting more complicated but at the same time it's getting more and more interesting. I'm really enjoying the worldbuilding the writers are doing and can't wait to see where they take us next week!
I think he is his Protector when he was in another realm. Who knows.... It will be a twist then kekekkeek
yeah, that's my question too! I think he knows something is off and he's not like a regular person, but I don't know if he knows exactly the details since he isn't that familiar with Earth and its own religions and culture.
