It turned out that each male competitor would choose a female partner according to their final points (the highest the first). If LYZ got 1st, he'd probably choose LLD because they know each other very well. Eventually CXX got 1st place and he chose LLD (minute 42:47 - 43:10). Look at her face after he said "I choose Landi".
Sadly they didn't have much screen time afterwards. Most of the time they acted as background whispering to each other in the corner. CXX also taught LLD archery but it was not aired.

LLD filmed "Angels Fall Sometimes" from Feb 2022 to May 2022. She then formally graduated from Central Academy of Drama in June. In August, they reunited and filmed a serie of videos and in September they participated in TTXS (a variety show) together. After that, CXX filmed Our Interpreter and LLD filmed Surise.
Their friend circle is highly connected though, sharing many common acquaintances long before they collaborated. Though I'm not sure if they contacted each other directly between Feb 2022 - Aug 2022. Because I watched a CXX interview made on the same day in Aug when they filmed that bunch of videos. The interviewer asked him to describe Ye Tan and he said "cute, heartless (*smiling while saying it*) and outstanding". I then watched their other interviews while doing promotions, they never described Ye Tan with those words, not to mention that I don't think Ye Tan has anything to do with being heartless and that smile of his... Perhaps it's because LLD never contacted him after the filming of TSL and he just used this opportunity to make a complaint XD Or it's just my mind imagining too much. LOL. It was a fan-organized drawing event. He selected some of them to show on his weibo. Interestingly, his fans drew based on all his materials and roles, but all he selected are those based on his childhood and youth, two photos from his recent birthday (birthday photo and photo with magnolia flower) and his roles in TSL (Youqin and the soul shards) and photos of him participating in events related to TSL (Hi 6 and Feb 26 Nanjing promo). He really loves this drama so much and I feel that these moments he selected are special for him.
So Youku got another new filter for the drama. Now it looks more colorful, crisp and better than the last version still. No idea what was Youku doing all the time and why didn't them use this video source from the start when the drama aired. (Up to now the videos on Youtube aren't updated to the newest version).

The eye part reminds me of an interview that CXX did not long ago (https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1PX4y1D7dL), he specially talked about eyes in acting, starting around 10:48. And then the interviewer asked him "the method of making eyes look bright" ("有神", it's a word that C-ent fandom use a lot to describe good acting in the eyes). He answered that eyes looking bright (有神) and eyes with content and emotions (有内容和有情绪) are two different things.

At the end of this March Jigmey did a livestream and a user asked him if LLD called him "handsome senior" and he answered no, that she used "handsome senior" for CXX. He also said that they make a sweet couple (no idea if he referred to the drama couple or something more).

In 2018 LLD was rumored to date ZXC (although it was only a rumor, many evidences pointed to them being a couple). They stopped any public interaction for the last 2 years and their relationship status became a mystery towards the middle of last year after LLD graduated from the uni.
She seemed unhappy for the 2nd half of last year (TSL was filmed between Sep 2021 - Jan 2022).
ZXC was in Thailand around Feb 16th and there was a photo of a girl with her back facing us standing 2 meters away from him that looked a lot like LLD. It's most likely her but there was no evidence of them travelling as bf/gf.
Ever since she's related to ZXC, ZXC's fans constantly bashed her but ZXC never made any statement (he's the type that cares a lot about traffic and his fans).
From Feb 20th on, LLD's attitude towards CXX became very different from before. They always have a lot in common and a lot to talk to each other but before LLD was sort of distant (in one of their interviews, the interviewer asked LLD to act "coquetry/childish" and CXX said that she never acted like that). If you watch all the CXX/LLD videos through timeline, the gradual change and development from LLD's part is very clear.
LLD isn't the type that does fan service and she never did "CP" stuff for the promotion of her other dramas (on Bilibili you can find videos that compare her interactions with other costars and with CXX).
