They're both especial to each other. I've watched loads of comparison videos of CXX's interviews with other costars vs with LLD and LLD's interviews/interactions with other costars vs with CXX. These two converse a lot and understand each other so well and LLD really trusts him.

TBH, even if they won, I don't think they would attend it. Neither of them is the type that likes variety shows. CXX in his interview even talked specifically how an actor should keep a low profile and be as mysterious as posible. I've watched the two variety shows that they attended together (September 2022 Happy Camp and March 2023 Hi Saturday), they tended to fade in the background and talk to themselves instead of being active on the shows.

Our best hope is that Mango TV release the scenes that are cut from their last participation. Accoding to repos from people who attended the recording of the show, there were a lot more than what was broadcast (there was a towel twisting competition that CXX won and repos said that it was such a highlight; they also did an interview and laughed so much while doing it but only parts were released). IDK for what reason Mango TV decided not to release them (usually there is always an extra the day after each episode but there wasn't for CXX/LLD's one and that episode actually got the highest TV rating of the show that Hunan TV had for the last two months even if it was broadcast on Weibo Night).

One explanation could be that our actors' teams don't approve the broadcast of the rest. If that's the case, it's even less possible to see them participate in these types of shows again.

QinTouYeHe is ship based on Shao Dian You Qin & Ye Tan while the other two ship real persons. At first, NiuDi and XingYingBuLi divided because they had some major disagreement while QinTouYeHe forbode real person shipping. As time goes by, it seems that the thing they had a disagreement on is no longer the case and some QinTouYeHe shippers also started to post things about the actors.

So the three don't have that big a difference now and it looks like they're going into a process of merging into one, just like in the drama 🤣 (but the more unorthodox NiuDi remains the most popular name of the ship).

The thing about CXX/LLD is that not only do they have chemistry in the drama but also outside. In fact, they have more chemistry in real life than in the drama xD Their characters' love in the drama is more of a slow burn and spent a lot of time in comedy than in romance and then some of the more intimate or romantic scenes got deleted from the final version of the drama. A lot has to do with the direction, the story itself and the visual than the actors themselves. Niu Di fans ship them based on their real life experiences/interactions/stories and the develop of their relationship overtime, it's not an extention of their roles (Li Landi said multiple times that she's very different from Ye Tan) while people who ship their roles in the drama is another fandom (although some of them also get into Niu Di as time goes by).

Even if we don't ship them romantically, we can see that they're a match in acting and we can cleary tell they're not their roles. Both actors are also willing to cooperate again (both have said this multiple times while I don't think they've expressed similar feelings to their other costars), so IMO there's good chance to see them collaborate again.

While many Dong Gong fans can't tell actors from their roles which have brought a lot of harm to CXX. They're a small group of people but they're very extreme.

IMO, It's harder to play a good guy.

Rumor from a usually reliable blogger says that LLD's next project is a modern medical drama.

qintou yehe is characters ship. xing ying bu li and niu di are ships outside the drama but shippers had a basic discord on their past relationships and split into two groups.

Then niu di the unorthodoxy one became more popular (it actually attracted people who never watched TSL but were only interested in the fated relationship between the actors and the fandom was full of people who are really funny and creative and I'd say some fanfictions written are more dramatic than your average fictions).

If you know about C-Ent, acting in a BL drama and frying RPS CP is the easiest way to become a traffic star. That's the main reason why BL dramas were banned.

The BL dramas per se either portray two MLs' relationship as friendship or are only suggestive, but it's the imagination or over analysis of the fans and the frying of RPS that make things go crazy and generate much more traffic and money than BG romance.

Judging by his attitude, CXX never seems to care about traffic.

The day when they recored Hi6 was CXX's birthday according to Chinese calandar.

He wanted to fry CP for the BL drama Guardian of the Lands (same producer of TSL , who's also the boss of CMC), but it was obvious that CXX didn't want that. If you watched the live event, CXX tensed on hearing that. Also there was an occasion when CMC was standing next to CXX and CXX quickly called LLD to his side.

The producer also bought a weibo hot search about the live event, but titled the topic as CMC, CXX something. It was embarrassing TBH.

LLD has/had rumored bf. We don't know what's their current relationship status but most of us are not happy with his attitude towards their relationship in the past (because of the way he treated their rumors, LLD got insulted by his fans so many times). Funny thing is LLD's rumored bf and CXX are considered competitors (they were both 1st place of The Central Academy of Drama) and they have opposite exterior personalities.

In any case, I really hope LLD and CXX can keep being close friends. And most of all, same as you, I hope to see them on screen again.

If you've watched the 1995 version of Wu Zetian, you'll understand what I'm talking about. The difference is huge. There's harem conflicts, but the drama deals in depth about her relationship with her husband (both political and emotional sense), with her sons (both political and emotional), with the ministers, with her lovers; She has power over wars and etc, unlikely those harem dramas where the FL's stage in her whole life is centered around harem.

They first met each other in 2017 at the audition of My Huckleberry Friends. Li Landi has the photo of them sitting together in her phone all these years and but she didn't recognized him. According to Chen Xingxu: "I was very depressed at the moment and too well fed." LOL.

The terrible lighting filter also made the actors' face less angular. Well, those dramas still aren't more than harem fight. None of these FLs really get more power than what the men are willing to grant them. TBH, the only C-drama (I've watched) that fits the OP's request and is well written and acted is 1995 version of Wu Zetian. Unfortunately, that's too old.
