Through The Darkness was also on SBS, if I'm not mistaken, and it's possibly one of the darkest kdramas

Try watching Burning, Bargain and The Call to see how versatile she is. She's one of the best actresses in SK right now and she totally has what it takes to play a strong queen

The recommendations here are good, especially Strangers From Hell. But the closest things I've watched are probably The Wicker Man (1973), Midsommar and The Third Day. Google "Folk Horror", it's the kind of genre Gannibal belongs to: creepy villages, dangerous festivals and traditions etc
