Hi6 failed to show such activities which makes the CP fans happy🫠😹 only landi being in stable relationship…
Tbh LLD's relationship with ZXC is on and off and not like how those marketing accounts have been saying (aka some long stable relationship)... her fans hate him because ZXC started flirting with her when she was still a minor (while he was an adult) which could explain why their relationship dragged on for so long. In addition, he also fries his ships excessively to the point of being seen in front of hotels with his co-star and wrote a love letter to another one of his famous ship. 💀 As long as the relationship is not publicized, I won't really take any C-Ent relationships seriously because they usually end up falling apart sooner or later. ZXC never owned up to having dated/dating LLD and has let his fans attack her for years. He also dropped some song recently implying he was dumped or something, but it could also just be his marketing strategy to start frying his M/M ship with Ding Yuxi.
As someone who read alot of angsty novel I found it especially good. When reading those kind of story you basically…
Exactly 💯. If that is the route the drama was going for, it did be melodrama + BE.
The scriptwriters managed to give us a drama with such a conflict that retained both of the characters' personalities (SCC is not one to break down/can't move on from love and TQ is not someone who did let negative feelings overtake his logic). There is no "lose/win" in pursuing a relationship. A positive/happy relationship only happens because both parties want it to happen. And in this case, TQ was the one who fell first and harder as adults so of course he did be the one actively pursuing this relationship after everything.
If the story goes how some people wanted it to go, TQ not forgiving SCC for a long time, then what?
SCC is not someone who did hang on, she did just focus on her job (and with her growing confidence, who is to say there won't be another person who did fall in love with her without all the misunderstandings to begin with?). It is also why this drama was able to sell itself as female-focused drama because SCC is independent of TQ at the end of the day.
Viewers can believe that SCC can live /without/ TQ. You can't sell a strong independent FL trope when the FL breaks down and loses their sense of self just because ML is sad/mad. Their love is very fated but at the same time, it is also both of them actively making the decisions to have this relationship and grow this love. These two are adults, not some pining angsty teenagers who keep counts of who suffered more.
I have been watching these reactors for a while and one of them works in the industry too (scriptwriter, etc.) and she praised episode 21-22 a lot (and Tong Hua) for the way TQ's feelings about SCC's reveal was resolved.
I see some complaints here about how SCC is so "cruel" when people on C-platforms like the reactors said Tong Hua through this reveal actually elevated both SCC's and TQ's characters. The scriptwriter reactor mentioned in previous episodes that she thought TQ's feelings for SM seemed superficial because "kindness" really isn't just isolated to SM when there are so many kind people in the world.
However, with episode 21-22, she pointed out what makes SCC's kindness so special is that she is someone who did run into traffic for a child (not everyone who is kind would do that) and how she continuously saved TQ while he was "blind" (plus every other kind countless actions she did for others through the episodes). This is all while SCC doesn't get any benefits or acknowledgement for these kind acts as it was under SM's skin (and then later FJ's and QST's skin) and when she thought TQ was blind, so she didn't protect him thinking he did be thankful to her.
She said TQ having the flashbacks about what he had said about SCC in the past is to also remind the audience that SCC never got any benefits/acknowledgment for the good things she did as SM, FJ, and later QST. All she got in return was misunderstandings, others thinking she was lazy, etc. It is to remind the audience that SCC didn't do all of this with the intention of TQ falling in love with her and getting hurt.
She also mentioned how this also elevated TQ's character because it shows his own kindness/gentleness. That he has the ability to see from SCC's POV and recognized his own contribution to this. Because typical people in his position would just be mad, focus on their own anger/injustice and not even attempt to think they had a hand in the situation. In addition, he was able to accept the hurt he went through /because/ he recognized that there were actually no deaths.
She and the co-reactor basically praised Tong Hua for showing BOTH the sufferings the characters went through (TQ was more "obvious" as that was "for" the audience, but SCC was an underlying one that has aways been there beneath all the comedy of the transformations). So, from an unbiased point, viewers would end up feeling for both characters.
They also praised Tong Hua for her ability to write this without some "big blowup" which is a typical narrative for a conflict like this. That the way she wrote this resolution in almost such a gentle and touching way really pushes the audience to understand TQ and SCC as individual characters and why they are meant for each other. That their kindness and gentleness far exceed those of "normal" people.
Do you know where they are streaming this? I checked on Tencent video and its not available... what is the English…
Idk if they have an official English title yet but 一见你就笑 would translate to "I smile when I see you".
I don't think international Tencent website will have it available right away. There is a chance they might upload on YouTube later on though. Best chance might be Bilibili where people might try to upload the episode (before it gets taken down).
Hope we get it on WeTV for international audiences. I see they are doing SVIP and VIP releases. :(Tan Jian Ci…
Hopefully they will! But it might not be right away since it is a new variety show. But if anything, I am sure fans will upload clips on Twitter/YouTube and if you have access to Bilibili, you can probably watch it on there before Tencent copy strikes it. 😂

Xinhua News (official state news agency of China) on Weibo made a report on "Filter" and praised the drama so this is huge.
Some snippets:
"Experts believe that the play cuts into realistic issues from a fantasy perspective, reflects the emotional resonance of contemporary audiences in the interlacing of fiction and reality, and broadens the boundaries of realism creation."
"Experts believe that the play skillfully integrates fantasy, comedy elements, and social issues, deeply analyzes the emotional confusion of contemporary young people, is full of life texture, has dimensions of transcendent thinking, and shows the creative truth of good stories with their own light."
Both TJC and LLD liked the post on Weibo, so I am glad they are seeing all these continuous praises!
"When scriptwriter Luo Xiaoting came across a video of Chinese MMA fighter Zhang Weili competing in Los Angeles, she was inspired by the athlete's strength and resilience. It sparked in her a desire to explore how women can break free from conventional beauty standards and discover their true worth."
"Director Chen Yuejin explains that the drama aims to offer audiences a meaningful perspective on life, encouraging positive emotions and helping viewers recognize their own self-worth."
"Actor Tan adds that beneath the surface of this absurd comedy lies a deeper message — one that explores women's growth and the challenges they face throughout the journey."
WHAT A TERRIBLE MISTAKE. I have seen the new update of his schedule, in the 15th he will film hi6 and this show…
Yeah, it is not written on her studio's schedule for this month. Her studio didn't write down any dates for her events. Her fans questioned her studio if she was going (and asked for confirmation) and her studio was vague about it. Then her studio in the group chat said it wasn't for drama promo (which her fans took it as she is not going since it is not related to the drama). There might be changes later though so who knows, I think her schedule has been uncertain due to her filming wrap-up date.
