I do find some of the comments funny because this drama is exactly about filters and people jumping to conclusions due to their own biases and there are some viewers who too have jumped to conclusions about the characters in just the first few episodes not realizing there is more than one POV of seeing the same situation.

Well not fully. Both have flaws in communication because both don't end up saying their entire thoughts clearly. TQ for example meant SCC's non-waterproof make-up was bad, but he only said "Looks bad" (as he was absorbed with looking at the picture and analyzing why the water turned the make-up into that since he works in the cosmetic industry and was lauching his own product). Then he said SCC is messy and that she should reflect on why she is like that, which he meant her behaviors (as he thought she was a school bully) but Lin Yuan's convo with him was about the being called bad (appearance) situation so they weren't on the same page there.

TQ during his school days also didn't see situations fully (thinking she was bullying other students because he only heard the convo mid-way). Once you have an impression about someone/something, you end up seeing more things that reinforce those ideas instead of thinking huh, maybe the situation is the opposite. Filter is not just about the bracelet but also filters people have about each other.

He didn't mean SCC's appearance. He meant her actions at the reunion and actions he thought she did back in their school days (bullying him and bullying other students). He found her behaviors messy and that she made herself look bad through her actions. SCC thought he was talking about her appearance which wasn't the case.

The rest of us enjoying it just need to continue to vote up and write positive comments. This is a legitimately /good/ drama. The plot has good pacing and the characters are also done very well. MDL commenters/raters have always been biased toward certain actors/actresses and scaled some drama too positively or too negatively depending on who acts in them regardless of the quality. Some of the best TVB dramas on this site have like 6-7/10 ratings when they are considered masterpieces by the HK/Chinese general public.

TQ is so smart, but it makes so much sense that he is not catching on because the bracelet got upgraded. Before, he noticed SM & SCC having the same bracelet but now he can't even go by that because the bracelet can be hidden now so he won't even be able to use that as a point of connection anymore. It is likely the bracelet will keep getting upgraded features too lmao.

It might actually happen because I saw a teaser clip that had 2 SCCs. 👀

Ohhh that scene (SCC looked so cute in that scene btw). No idea, they didn't leak enough for us to figure out that scene yet, but I have been seeing clips of that scene on Xiao Hong Shu with shippers being happy it because it was a cute scene.

Not sure if we saw the same previews since I saw some upcoming clips on Douyin but Fan Jin (SCC) is making her appearance. 👀 Fan Jin (the real person) was actually mentioned back in episode 2 by SQL as a client for a divorce case she is working on.

I was waiting for this song! Loved it when they played it as BGM during their school flashbacks.

I think just SM LOL. The alpaca for example didn't get killed off since SCC based her transformation on an actual alpaca that was living in a zoo. But TQ was still sad since he felt that the alpaca in the zoo wasn't the same alpaca he was with.

I don't know if there is a supernatural element to it, but he gets lucky when he is with her while she gets unlucky. 😂

Lin Yuan: Car got dirty from his vomit, didn't win the Xiang Liu doll, car door caught her jacket/kicked her shoe away, fell into that shipping cart/accident happened, then sprained her ankle later.

Gu Yu: Able to get home safely, won a lottery, won the Xiang Liu doll, & co-workers found SM's make-up.

There are probably more but these are just the ones I remember so far lol.

I kept my expectation low for this drama, but I am so happy it surprised me. I usually have problems with modern idol romance C-dramas because they sometimes write the FLs really badly just to get the main pair together (aka no substance or reason except both leads are hot and meant to be), but I am glad the scriptwriters actually care about these characters individually first before the shipping actually happens. It makes them well-rounded.

They need to get together to redistribute that luck. It is a sign. 👀

I looooove the scenes switching from SCC to alpaca back to SCC, it is done so well. They really felt like one person/entity.
