I am in the same situation, but I haven't started reading yet. Well, I hope we get to see it this year.

I get it, pretty interesting. I actually never saw it that way to tell the truth. I believe that they may keep it, if they find it important or if they want to focus on that aspect, because Korea is much more conservative in that matter comparing to many European countries. I mean there is no ban or something, and it is a remake. For the time being, I just hope it will be a decent remake.

I hope there is an international platform for this one...

Not necessarily. Korean productions are adding more lgbtq+ characters on their series lately. Besides that, they weren't a main plot point in the original either, especially in the first two seasons. I feel (and I hope) that they will focus on the plot of the first two seasons and make it a bit different comparing to the original.

Yeah, it is not available worldwide. But since the one that asked referred to viki, I assumed it was available in their region. Did u like the first ep?

It just got uploaded on viki so it will take a while. However, if you can watch it there, it is better to wait than watch it on other sites.

Well everyone has a different taste. I didn't even try so not worth it, because I don't like sitcoms. I dropped the silent sea after two eps (I didn't like it at all). I also had higher expectations from Hellbound, even though I generally enjoyed it.

There were quite a few misses this year, if you ask me lol. Generally though, the series is quite good. It is not bloody like AOUAD or squid game, but it is interesting. More on the dark atmosphere and realistic side. If you ask me, I think you should give it a chance. The opening scene is fantastic.

Not much (in the first 2 eps at least). Even though the first case is quite gruesome, I personally didn't feel the impact in a lot of aspects. From a viewers point of view, it is not graphic. There is some blood and some hints of what happened, but it mostly leaves it to the imagination of the viewer.

I don't think we know for sure that there will be a lgbtq+ character. From the trailer it looks like it though, especially between the girls.

No but it depends on how easily you get scared. It will have gore though, so take that into consideration.

Who knows? I personally hope that it will also be available on YouTube, but I don't think they will upload it, while it is airing. Best case scenario they will make it available tomorrow or next week, but I don't think they made any announcement.
