Yeah that's what I'm saying. Judging now it can't be completed, but when it first started I felt like they could complete the book in one season. Yeah exactly, I don't think it will end very good or it may have a kind of open ending. Yeap, we can just wait and see. Hopefully it does good enough to produce another season. It would be terrible if they end the series with a bad ending or open ending/cliffhanger and S2 never happens.

I am also wondering what they will do now. I feel they may post two eps next weeks and post the last episode individually on a Saturday. That would probably make the most sense viewership wise. I truly hope we don't get only 1 ep. next week 😭

At first I was thinking that a S2 may have been independent and not really based on the book but with only 4 eps left I doubt it. And it is not the fact about producing a S2, it is the fact that no one knows if S2 will happen at all. I hope they don't end the series badly or leave the book unfinished just because they hoped S2 will happen. That would be terrible. Plus, I honestly don't get why even a S2 is needed when they could finish the whole thing in one season.

MBC posted the preview and it said it will air on the 20th. I have no idea if they changed their schedule now, but I don't think so.

I think it deserves something better than an 8.3 honestly. Eps 4 onwards it is very solid.

That's what I mean. She feels more like a plot tool than an actual character. She literally went there, accidentaly saw the bone and she was like let's take a photo cause it looks human and test it etc.
It felt super random. Like her character existed purely for that purpose. I don't know how to explain it.

Obviously she doesn't care. Her husband is probably involved and had an affair with Da Eun (or even worse left her pregnant). She probably tried to cover everything up cause she is selfish and all she cares about is her reputation and career. Purely from a political angle, solving the case by branding someone a murderer would help her reputation wise, since the case was solved quickly and the bad guy was caught.
