Title Black Out Spoiler
I think GJW didn't know what happened to his car, so all he could do now is to find the witness of the accident…
Yeap exactly. But GJW had told SC from the get go to search for witnesses and about that car accident and the car itself. And when he figured the car might be scraped he started searching more thoroughly. It was idiotic imo to not let SC do his research first and then searching for the witness in that way, because what he did was just dangerous. If he hadn't searched for the witness so openly, the police would probably not even bother thinking about the car.

- 100%. He knew something was up and that is why he kept the car and hid it, paying for 10 whole years.
I agree with that. I am also thinking his death is not that accidental and there was probably more to it.

- It wasn't 100% accidental, but it was also stupid not to search for documents in the house from the get go. That aside, how did the ML not search for anything when he started living there? It felt very intentional plot wise that he suddenly found his mom's letters along with that document. He was searching everywhere for evidence etc and he hadn't searched thoroughly his own house?

I love that about him too. He is sooo sarcastic with them. He knows full well they are corrupted b@stards.

Actually another scene that made me think was that when police officer was talking on the phone about the car, the female police officer behind him was looking at him. I am wondering if she also has something to do with what happened or it was just coincidental.

- I am waiting for the mom drama to be honest. We know NG wants the mom in Seoul and GJW doesn't. She is trying way too much to get her and JW in Seoul, I feel that something regarding his mom will happen soon.
For real, she is too crazy.

- Another episode, another "I want to burn everyone and everything" feeling.

- Honestly, I was a bit frustrated with JW this episode. Yeap okay, the whole "searching for the witness" is a must to make the plot move forward, but it was way too stupid. He could have done it after searching his home for clues of the car, cause that way everyone found out about his intention and the only reason that he found the car first in the end is because he got lucky (and because he is the main lead...)

- Go Jun with that black turtleneck though πŸ”₯
I love how he is so sarcastic and "happy" with those corrupt cops πŸ˜‚

- I actually didn't expect for the parents to deal with the crime and not really have the kids involved at all with dumping the body. That aside, what's with NG? That bothered me too. One moment she was there telling everyone what to do and the next she disappeared etc.

- NG is such a psycho. Girl followed her talent though and became a famous actress, I give her that...

- Uncle cop is rising in the list of a$$holes. Like wow dude really wants that no 1 spot. Are u kidding me? Everything murder wise aside, you are telling me he prevented an abused woman to press charges against her abusive husband, because "Maybe he did it by accident" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ And then he got into a relationship with him, like wow, that man is truly after the no. 1 spot.
Kudos to the writers about the portrayal of the abusive husband. He is very well written πŸ‘

- It was nice seeing GJW being happy and relieved that his dad trusted him and that is why he didn't destroy the car πŸ‘Œ

P.S. I just can't help but thing that we would have ep. 11 and 12 this week instead of 10 and 11 and that is killing me.

mhm, Idk, Physical 100 was in top 10 in my European country all the time it aired, and this nothing so far, both…
Same, but it did take some days for that to happen. At least it is no 10 worldwide according to Flixpatrol.

At this point, it is very clear that the director and production team has already planned for more than one season…
I am glad too as long as we actually get a second season with the same actors. Cause if they actually decide against it, the choice itself would be pretty bad to say the least...

Title The On1y One Spoiler
I might get hate for this but I am going to be the one to say it. The scene at the end has garnered criticism…
I will probably get hate for this too, but I will say it anyways.
I agree partly with what you wrote, but I also understand why it got hate.
It was simply something that they could just change writing-wise. I don't really remember it in the book either, so If I am not mistaken it was their choice to add it.

I agree that it was not shown in a weird way, and it was part of their youth and that playful bet etc. The way the scene happened didn't feel -too- abnormal, nor was the intention to be seen as problematic.

But, I 100% get the critisism and when it happened I, myself, was like "That was just unecessary" even though in the end, I didn't really mind and it is a series anyways so...
Just wanted to write this, since you mentioned the specific scene.

What bothered me, is that the series does feel real in many aspects. Despite the fact it is fictional, the characters and their struggles are portrayed in a pretty raw and realistic way. I also like how the series focuses on youth and generally what it means to be young.

It is quite realistic in that aspect that teens would do such a thing cause of a bet. Like JT said "a bet is a bet" (and that's a very teen thing to say). But, because of those reasons -the series being realistic etc- , it was weird that a bunch of adult teachers laughed it off, even felt proud about it, like it was the most normal thing in the world, cause it simply wasn't. Real life teachers, first would never make such a bet, unless they had a screw loose in the head and secondly they would 100% aknowledge the danger of such bet and how they could easily lose their jobs -or worse-. Cause I don't think a normal parent would find it normal or funny, if they heard that their 16-17 year old sons started running around naked cause they lost a bet with their adult male teacher and while that was happening, the teachers were laughing and just saw it happen.

I think I would probably accept it much more easily in another series. But here, because the drama itself is taking itself quite seriously in some aspects and it is realistic in others, the bet was unecessary and the reactions of the teachers was a bit off for such a series.

Oh there's a conference day? Then I think they will give us something then.
Thanks for the info. That is good, we will probably get some info or most probably some stills.

Why this drama doesn’t provide any update for festival like mid-autumn festival or boat festival . Why no update…

Yeap, the date is on the preview of ep. 10 -if they don't change something until then-.
Naturally. It is on the one on YouTube, not on the one after the series ends. I did some searching to be sure.

Title Black Out Spoiler
The series didn't show anything regarding them. However, it wouldn't be unexpected if the congress woman made…
Yeap exactly. We know about uncle cop and generally how the whole investigation was ridiculous, but we don't really know about the actual trial and the judges. My theory is that probably the congresswoman helped in that aspect since we now know she wanted the case to close and since she had connections in the police she probably had connections on court too (or maybe she bribed them or promised them something). On the other hand, even if it was not her, there was a confession from the main lead and that is a main factor why he got sentenced.

I don't remember about MS's mom, but about the phone I think that the girls grandma said she heard a man on the phone and I think she said it was him so they got that as evidence. That aside though, the court is not always fair, trials are a game about who has the more evidence and who can convince who. Plus not the first time people are getting framed for things they didn't do and not the first time the police is doing a lousy investigation and putting innocents in jail. If we actually never find out about it, I think there are tons of things that make sense and could have happened regarding the trial.

The series didn't show anything regarding them. However, it wouldn't be unexpected if the congress woman made…
Yeah, I think it was mentioned in the first few eps and the whole revelation about the congresswoman happened now. However, I don't think anything regarding the judges was mentioned. It can only be implied that she was involved in that too. About the reduced sentence, I am still not sure if his age and confession were the only reasons he got a lighter sentence. After all, uncle cop basically wanted him to confess cause he knew what happened.
Maybe other things helped, like the fact that the murders couldn't really be proved despite his confession, since the bodies were not really found.

Did the prosecutor and Judge had a talk with YYS as well or it's normal that they didn't notice the sloppy investigation…
The series didn't show anything regarding them. However, it wouldn't be unexpected if the congress woman made everything move quicker and made the judges make a specific decision. She could have bribed them or did it to help their own careers since it was a double homicide of two girls in a town with no actual huge crimes. That is also up to the lawyers, remembering or not, the problem is he confessed he did it and even did the whole thing of going to the scene and showing the cops how the crime happened. Maybe the evidence, his confession, his age and the reason there were no bodies at the time, helped with the low sentence. (I think they said something about the sentence in the first eps, but I don't remember).

OK, I have to ask. What's the deal with Crab? I think I'm missing something. I know he's SW's former schoolmate…
Pretty sure that's it. He is just his former classmate and one of the few people -if not the only one]- SW kept in touch with from his previous school.

Edit: Apparently they are new. Is that like a good thing or not? Perhaps they will leak the series πŸ™ƒ That's like my last hope.
