Thanks to our jealous enigma HY and his pheromone shower last night, SY seems to have entered his rut earlier than expected lol Honestly, if they were more honest with each other, a lot of issues could have been avoided. HY believes that SY is taking other omegas to these events to cheat, while SY's actions are actually his way to protect HY, he doesn’t want him to get hurt again... I really can't imagine how things will go on when everything gets revealed...It will get soo messy lol

I’m currently watching the new episode and something Hua Yong mentioned a few episodes back came to mind while watching. He said that Shao You deserves better people around him because the ones he has are incompetent or smth and after watching today’s episode, I can’t help but agree lol His subordinates are trying to undermine him and get him removed from the CEO position, yet they haven’t made any progress in their research all this time and to make matters worse, one of his "friends" is trying to honey trap Hua Yong for his own gain in Shao You's absence...

I actually did earlier! You're right, it's best not to let this back and forth drag on. I was already considering blocking them anyway. It's much better overall to keep the comment section toxic free. It's just that at first based on some of their previous comments, I thought they'd move on after saying their piece some days ago, cause people can have both positive and negative opinions about a series and I didn’t want to interfere. But seeing them come back day after day, it started to feel more like an obsession or just a place for them to vent. So I felt like I had to say something.

The actor who plays Chang Yu here (aka Hua Yong's secretary) is actually the og actor who played the MC in the first adaptation of Counterattack by Chai Jidan (currently re-doing it with Revenged Love).

I honestly doubt it. As someone who's read the novel ( even though it was long ago), I think they can wrap it up in just one season. Sadly, even with Stay With Me (the 2nd live-action adaptation of Addicted ), which was based on a much longer novel by Chai Jidan, only got one season that covered just the first part of the book. The second was never adapted, only released as an audiobook... still salty about that. So yeah, I really don't think a 2nd season will be necessary this time.

Just saw the update on X and we're getting two eps today and then one episode daily starting tomorrow??! Finally, they’re going full Cdrama style with the release! 🥳 These past few weeks have been tough trying to hold back and save up episodes to binge later… but now I can finally pick up where I left off and start watching! ☺️
That said…I am a little sad because this also means the series will be ending soon and the post-drama withdrawal is going to hit hard 🥹
May Chai Jidan keep remaking her novels into live adaptations! I will be sitted for all of her future works!

You present yourself as someone with refined taste and high intellect who only engages with "successful" works, yet here you are, commenting on something you claim to dislike. It seems more like you're looking for a place to vent than offering meaningful critique.
It's entirely possible to appreciate one piece of work without tearing another down. Personally, I enjoy both BLs for different reasons. I understand that this one might not be for everyone, especially given its theme but that doesn't justify belittling those who do appreciate it.
Even if the original comment was a bit out of line, your response didn’t elevate the conversation or yourself the way you thought it would, it just showed you're willing to stoop lower. That says more about your intentions than the show ever could.

I’ve never really understood the whole fandom drama thing and the hate that comes with it. Aren’t we all BL fans? Why can’t people just enjoy multiple BL series at the same time? Whether it's BL or even straight Cdramas or Kdramas, there always seems to be some kind of fan rivalry going on. Meanwhile, I’m just here enjoying whatever I think is good, regardless of where it’s from. For example, I am currently watching both RL& Desire and find them both entertaining for their own reasons.
Why does it feel like the drama world is starting to feel like the Kpop fandoms scene? At the end of the day, aren’t we all just looking for shows we genuinely enjoy to spend our precious time on?

Pressure from mainland China had them sadly pull the series off from chinese owned platforms like iQiyi,Youku and even their Youtube channel! However, thankfully you can still find it internationally on Viki and Gagaoolala!
