Ok, thought you want to know more. And sorry if I offended you, just kinda sick of this misperception that so and so is immortal and is on a mortal trial lol. It likes being a hard working human isn’t allowed 🤣
So we skipped the whole tree demon and fake bride arc :( awww, was wishing to see LYX as a bride lawl 🤣🤣🤣🤣 sad, because in the book, this section is so long, and so much tensions and feeling developed during this arc :( but oh well, have to watch and see how they do the purple flower lol
Nahh the story just made Tantai Jin so weak....and Xiwu all bossy spoiled lady. But now there's so much chemistry…
That’s the point lol. No one would expect a devil god to be so pathetic and weak lol. And her bossy, and strong personality is what make her so attractive lol.
Isn't Ye Xi Wu mortal? I wonder if the Susu sent to the past could be his reincarnation. In the comments below…
YXW is mortal, LSS is not a reincarnation of YXW. YXW is actually a god, during the time YXW is alive, she’s an egg 🤣. However, to say YXW isn’t connected to her isn’t completely true either. In order for LSS to hatch, her mother needs to obtain 100 souls, 99 good n 1 bad, YXW is the bad one, but it managed to escape and become YXW. So when LSS transport into YXW, her soul is complete. TTJ’s marriage to YXW is real. Later on, they have an offical wedding because she wanted to be the queen. It’s basically the queen coronation.
In all the betrayals TTJ has Ying Xin's one kinda fair though... She is Living in a palace for almost 20 years…
Both the maids, it’s quite fair for them. They wasted so many years for him, one wanted freedom, and one has a daughter that being held hostage. So yea, if it was SuSu, she would hate them, but would not kill them nor do anything malicious to them… unlike TTJ
Oh sh!t, so she basically drugged him by mistake then raped him?! And THEN she decided to torture him, too, for…
Uh, I wouldn’t call it r4p3 lol. More like 2 drunk person want to get it on. Anyway, you will find out that he didn’t let it happen lol, as in he can get out of it, she’s not physically stopping him and then taking advantage of him
I don't read the novel. Ye Family is little bit trashy but second son is too good for his family. I can guess…
Anyway, this novel support the idea that you have to work hard to be a deity/immortal? Example is that XL, as XL live a normal human life but already started to cultivate. He got killed early, but during this life time, he does many good deeds. That’s why next life, he got more cultivation advantages (idk how to explain it but he can go higher level than a lot of ppl lol). And you also get ppl who cultivate, but they can’t go any higher, they just die? LSS’s dad is an example of that, in the book, he’s basically on his last 100 years lol. So not everyone is an immortal who is going through a mortal trial is what I’m trying to say. XL and second brother character are just normal human, cultivating this life time, and to next life time.
If they can play it good then Ye Bingchan who is truly wretched or maybe morally grey, can make their pair interesting.…
I think because they are up and coming actor and actress so that why they tried to create hype for them. But it’s true that in the book, these two characters are dull lol!
Why do I think everything goes pretty fast compared to the novel? It is ony me?The scene where in the dream of…
The first lot of dreams are mainly to learn about TTJ’s past. Which we achieved in the drama. We do not need to know YBC’s inner fear, lol. I’m pretty sure ppl will turn off if they have to sit through how YBC wants to stay in the dream where she’s the queen and have kids with XL lol. The fox part is next I think, trailer of ep7 shows they are in bed and TTJ tries to get her demonic elixir. Regarding the shallowing the goddess statue, it might be a bit insane and morbid for screen? Lol. Though I think the scene where he’s in a broken down house n snow is everywhere and his mouth is full of blood, I have a feeling it might have to do with the goddess statue? They are cutting out all the weapons and artifacts lol. Even the tiger is now a cat lol! No word mentioning it, but it’s there… and I also don’t feel like they are rushing it, for a book that is so long… no joke I stayed up for almost 2 weeks straight (every night 4 hours sleep), reading at every opportunity, skipping like mad because it was so long, be able to cramp that into 40 ep is a miracle lol
Man I loved loved the book and was so excited for this drama but somehow I tried watching the 1st episode today…
I loved the book and read it twice at least, and I’m very very happy with the adaptations. I can see where they cut the plots, but the bits where they cut essentially did not hurt the story! That’s why all the weapons are like there in the first ep, which could throw the book fans off. But since we only have essentially 40 hours (less than that, since each ep isn’t a full 60mins), something gotta go. And the origins and how they obtain these weapons are not necessary. Same with why in the book, TTJ just get his 2 crazy weapons basically handed to him lawl! Also the beginning isn’t the same as the book, so that again, throwing ppl off. But once you pass those, it’s very very nice. Also who couldn’t love Chuntao 🤣🤣🤣

The thing though we don’t get how they fall in love in the book either. And I think this is because their love isn’t real. It’s the result of her double red string. That’s why their love is superficial in a sense? Like the drama basically shows you what their dynamic is in the book, where the prince dotes on her, and she’s the gentle, kind, pretty girl that everyone wants to protect. Also in a sense, her wickedness is rather behind closed door. You don’t see any of her devious act apart from withdraw saying a few things or hide a letter, everything else she did were pretty much hidden until after. So if the drama does it right, you can kinda sense things are not right, but you can’t squarely put it on her?
Can someone pls clarify. Is Li Su Su a reincarnation of Ye Xiwu? When Susu transported to the past, what happened…
In the book, the bandits was hired by TTJ to kill YXW, so she actually die/close to death, and that’s when LSS takes over. In the drama, I guess she just takeover, and most likely will explain that their soul merged, because technically YXW’s soul is meant to be go into LSS’s egg and help her hatch out of her egg, but it escapes. 🤷♀️ I think LSS was in the egg for at least 500years? Because her parents die around the time YBC was about 10? And she got the heart protection scale and the red string. N LSS would be still in the egg. And YXW is already born if she’s only a few years younger than YBC.
There is no mortal trial… the old xianxia style is they all human, they live their lives, while cultivate, goes…
The followers, not the monk. The monk is a human. And I wouldn’t call it mortal trial? Because they were not mortal? They still have their power? They live in the mortal realm isn’t the same as being a mortal? And all followers are like criminals if you want to put a label on them lol, and they need to do this to atone themselves. Whereas a lot of these new mortal trial is like just live a hard normal life and bam, they level up lol. Put it this way, journey to the west, the whole drama is 1 journey, 1 trial. Whereas these new dramas are like let just throw in many lives where it does not matter, like Love and Redemption >_> even in 10 miles, apart from the life where she lost her memory, and met YH, the other one is like what’s the point? You say by living 1 hard human life of 80 years is enough to level up a god rank? God level is pretty easy then lol.
I don't read the novel. Ye Family is little bit trashy but second son is too good for his family. I can guess…
There is no mortal trial… the old xianxia style is they all human, they live their lives, while cultivate, goes through all the hardships of life then they become fairies, gods, etc. there is rarely a born a god/immortal and go through mortal trial. It’s like a new thing. Look at journey to the west, the monk is a human, through his journey, he’s then become a god. Everyone rank up after their journey/trial. Even the pig, was a human before he’s the pig. Back then, you might be able to cultivate, you live longer, but not forever lol. That’s why you got deities with white hair lol.
Regarding the hair pieces, technically she can take them off, however, so far, she is like too tired/passing out/ running around doing stuff, she doesn’t have time for those things lol!
He will be influenced by the Ming Ye arc, but i wouldn't go as far as saying he will be in love with xiwu.
Yup lol. Basically after FL die, he has nothing to do, and so much rages he needed to find an outlet lol. And that’s outlet is finding out everything he can relating to FL. And he felt like he treating FL wrong, so by revenging her, he’s making up to her
