As much as I understand ppl want to ship SML and SFL, but we need a bad guy here, and SFL is a good bad guy lol

Geez, I’m really sick of this whole comparing thing. They are all pretty. To say one is prettier than the other is such narrow minded! It likes flowers! They are all beautiful in their own way! CDL is pretty, but there are some scenes where she’s pretty plain. BL is pretty overall, but then because of it, it’s hard for her to wow people, you need to go from like plain and boring to wow, beautiful to create a deep impression. Whereas if you are tend to be beautiful constantly, it’s harder. This is why this drama is so good, they manage to give BL that extra wow factor! Really showcase how beautiful she is!
I knew it was antis when they are like BL looks bad in this makeup/costume compare to A/B/C, then you look at it and you are like they both look fine? Neither are bad or A/B/C is worse, what are drugged are you on about! Lol

I saw how they did MY and SJ’s scene, I like it! Good change lol! Now I need to know how they did the flower/eye exchange scene. They better keep that flower plot line because it’s the changing moment for them!!!!

Haha yea, the bracelet is quite significant,he always manage to catch her, and yet, every time, she managed to run away. It seems he can never keep her, and that’s why he was so happy he got the bracelet. The bracelet binds their lives together, and he was so sure he can’t be killed, and therefore, she can’t die. He has an inkling that she might try to die. And yes, that’s why he couldn’t believe it seeing it shattered, he knew she once again managed to do the impossible, run away from him again!

My only problem is it seems she’s not blind???? They better make her blind lol

Sooo let’s reduce our expectations, I also see a lot of deviations from the novel, however, I kinda understand the need for it to pass censorship lol! I’m sure China ain’t going to pass a drama where ML has XXX with FL because she needs it to reduce her pains lawl! Nor do we get the scene where she begs for XXX because she’s overwhelmed with pains 😅 or how ML tortured SFL to the point of disfigurement 😅😅😅 or how the pearl princess did something to Ming Ye while he couldn’t move 😅😅😅 to this day, I’m still not sure exactly what she does!!!!! Either way, it sounds bad 😅😅😅

Her soul transported back to the general’s daughter. To say the general daughter has no connection is wrong. In one of the extra chapters of the book, it is explained that the FL was an egg, and because her mother got injured while carrying her, she was having a hard time coming out of her egg. Because of it, she was inside the egg for like a thousand years? Anyway, in order to help her hatch, the mother needs to collect 99 good souls and 1 evil soul. The 1 evil soul escaped, and that YSW’s soul. So in a sense, she is just taking back what is hers? And in the book, that’s why her soul hasn’t been completed, until her transportation back in time. And that’s why she feels so strongly connected to her father, and grandmother.

Unless you mean while they were mortal, she was YSW, the text implying she might at the early stage of pregnancy. But she wouldn’t have lived to full term anyway due to the purple flower curse, she already read her life few years back, so she kinda know she die young

He was born as the devil king, just like there is a jade emperor, there is always going to be a devil king. You can’t kill him, if you do, he will just come back stronger (even though it will take sometimes). That’s why SuSu can’t just straight out kill him when she first transported back in time when the devil king was still a human. The last god on earth told her that only when the devil king opens his heart, then she can use the 9 nails to pierce through the heart. Which has been impossible for anyone to do, and never work before because the devil king never has a heart. He has always born ruthless, hungry for power, no emotions, essentially no heart lol. SuSu wasn’t even sure how to open his heart, all she knows was he did not kill her. Time and time again, he would capture her, and while a lot of time put her in jail, doesn’t give her any special treatment, but he would not kill her (and this is a big deal, because in the book, if anyone is not of use to him, get killed immediately, he’s super efficient lol). So she knows to have any chance, she has to stay close to him. The 9 nails stay close to her chest, it warms up and form 9 nails if the devil king’s heart open/being moved. So she has a pretty good indicator of what she does that make his heart open lol.
Long story short, she managed to open his heart, n that is when the 9 nails form fully. However, only 6 nails managed to pierce his heart, 3 got crushed by the protective scale, which is her sister’s special weapon. Because of this, her mission fails, he didn’t die, just in excruciating pain for as long as he lives. N this is also a nail in the coffin for their relationship lol. From that point on, he turned pretty cold to her. And this is where their relationship takes a really dark turn!

If you are concerned about the actor, ok. However, for the look of TTJ character, thin and sickly is how he meant to look lol. Stunning face, but sickly and thin, malnourished even. Because he didn’t even get milk when he first born. He was eating rat to stay alive even as a newborn ☹️

This is where the drama deviate from the book. SFL is never an immortal. At one stage, all of them entered a dream of a sleeping dragon, Ming Ye, where each takes on a character in the dream. As much as it is a dream, it’s the past, already happened, they can’t change it, they can only live through it, it’s only then they understand why the dragon decided to fall into slumber. In this dream, ML is Ming Ye, FL is pearl princess, SFL is an immortal, SML is a magical wolf, who is deeply in love with FL. In the dream, SFL lose her immortal bone because of her devious act. FL turned evil, ML tried to exchange his god bones for her evil bones to save her, but it was too late.

Basically, do not going into this drama thinking three lives three world. There is no such thing as they go into the mortal world so they can level up 😒 the first life if you want to call it that, is the past. So ML in 500 years is the devil king, where FL was born. In her time, he killed everyone, so as the last ditch of effort, they sent her back in time to destroy him.
Second life, if you want to call it that, is a dream of Ming Ye, which is again, not really them, they are acting out/living through someone’s else already happened life. During that dream, they acted as if they were those characters, so FL isn’t FL, and ML isn’t ML. However, through this dream, they gain a perspective. ML thinks Ming Ye is stupid, and should have just gone for power instead of love. FL learns that love is really painful lol, and it made you lose your own pride, she also makes sure she won’t follow such foot steps. SFL learns that she can be so cruel and evil, and that shaken her to the core, as she thought she’s a good person. And finally, SML can’t seem to shake off his wolf feeling for FL. Even though he knows it’s a dream, it’s not his life. Yet he just can’t seem to be able to let it go. You could say because he has such a good heart, and this dream is essentially a life time, he has a soft spot for FL.
Then stuffs happened, she got transported back to her original time (not the same timeline as it has change). Do you call this is a 3rd lives? Lol. Anyway, later on, they entered another dream, this time, it is to get their happy ending, to show ML love FL a lot. But she woke up, and her line breaks my heart: “love me? Idk! How could I know you love me? When you abandon me when I was blind?! I asked you to give me the flower to return my sight back to me?! But you gave it to her!”
And all ML could say was: I’m sorry, I was wrong, I made a grave mistake.
Keep in mind here: even though at the beginning, ML would continually show his hatred to her, try to harm her. She was the only one who did not abandon him when he was half blind and so injured he couldn’t move. She was gentle, and she was giving him so much. He didn’t know… but during her darkest time, literally, his coldness, not even one shred of warmth toward her really put her in a depth of despair. Yet she still gives her all to him, literally.
Anyway, in the end, he re-emerge, so would you call this 5th life? Lol. Point is each of these lives is coherently and purposely there. Not like love and redemption, they just want to hit 10 lives because they can 🙄

Finally saw some shorts of the PC, love the colour coordination our actors and actress have on lol! BL’s full black to go with LYX’s white and black (they are also both wearing pants = an even partnership lol!), CDL is pink and DW is blue! Lol!
