Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
They kinda don’t but kinda do get together. Their relationship is rather toxic? But it’s the right kind of…
After 500yrs, FL learned the no emotions mantra, and swear not to fall in love with anyone. While ML is now under a new name and is cultivating at a low reputation sect. They met again during a friendly competition between sect. But because FL has different appearance, ML didn’t recognise her. FL did, but she pretend to not know him. ML realise FL has really nice bone (?) structure that can be used to resurrect his past lover (FL, didn’t know it was the same person lol). So he tried to kill her to capture her body. FL fights him off, and the 2 fell into an underground entrapment. In there, is a past life mirror, ML saw her reflection as his past lover, don’t remember whether she realise he know. Anyway, they both got dragged into a series of painting at the moment he found out the true identity of her. These series of painting is a 12 painting, which supposed to nourish her, she started as a kid, and with each day pass, she is in the new painting and grow up. She lost her memory in this realm. ML rekindle with her in this realm, because in here, they don’t have all these past issues and problems that hold them apart. FL promised to never abandon him, but of course when she came out of the paintings, all the memories in there were gone. So they kinda went back to not knowing each other, as a matter of fact, she made it clear she wants nothing to do with him

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
Xiao Lin in the book is a very beloved prince, he’s intelligent, kind, charming and really good at martial arts.…
Sml has never loved FL in either life. Well, he did in a dream in the past (but in that dream, he is not himself, rather he’s playing someone’s role), and that dream caused him a lot of doubts of his love for his wife, who is the sfml. The book is very dfo us on the 2 leads, there isn’t any side story really (like if there are side stories that are to enhance the main couple lol).

Sfml stole 2 magical items: a red thread of fate, and the body armour. Everyone possesses 1 red thread of fate, however if you possess 2, you can make anyone like you. That’s why everyone naturally infatuate with her, they can’t explain it. Whereas for the FL, because she entered the most hated person, so initially they all hate her. But over time, her conducts and actions made all 3 guys like her and respect her so much, that you know FL is a real deal. And if given time and chances, all the guys would fall head over heels for fl. There were only suggestive sentences that say these men feels something for FL, but they push it aside because they love sfml first, and they must stay loyal to that

Xiao Lin in the book is a very beloved prince, he’s intelligent, kind, charming and really good at martial arts.…
In the book, ML enchanted FL so that when the time comes, she will be hypnotised and kill the SML. This event caused a wedge between them. Before this incident, the FL was kinda indecisive/not 100% sure. But after this, she knew she has to do what’s right and that mean eliminating the evil person that he is. She got given a 9 heart nails by an ancient god before he passes away. However, these 9 nails can only work if the ml has a heart (human emotions). He’s basically psychopath, so FL needs to somehow cause him to have human emotions, and she realises his heart away whenever he’s dealing with her. So she basically started to act more flirty toward him, and sure enough he falls deeper and deeper for her.
After sml die in the past, the sfml, who is the sml’s wife, now married to ML because it’s what he always wanted. Sfml also knows how infatuated ML is with her, so she agrees to the marriage (it was supposed to save the peace between the 2 countries). However, she couldn’t figure out why ML on the surface treated her so nicely but doesn’t touch her, while keeping FL in his chamber and no one allow to touch or do anything to FL. So she planned multiple events to make the FL look bad and like a traitor. During one of these planned events, the FL was rescued by ML, wat that moment, his heart fully open up as he used his body to shield her off the coming arrows. So she used the 9 nails on him. However, sfml gave him a body armour, so only 6 nails went through, causing FL’s plan to fail. Ultimately hit the nail in the coffin for their relationship (ironically lol). Because of this, ML totally distrust FL, imprison her to rot and die.

The 3 males that infatuate with sfml are ml, sml, and sml’s best friend

Can someone spoil me more about Xiao LIn/ Deng Wei's character ? I like his yellow costume so much and wanted…
Xiao Lin in the book is a very beloved prince, he’s intelligent, kind, charming and really good at martial arts. All the good lucks in the world seem to be on him, and everyone can’t help but love him, comparing to Tan Tai Jin, who seems to be having all the bad lucks in the world and everyone despite him even though they just meet him. As much as Xiao Lin isn’t a crown prince, but everyone knows that the throne is his, it’s just not yet time for the king to do so. Xiao Lin is the previous life of SuSu’s big sect brother, who always love and take care of her. So in the 500yrs ago arc, she has always been kind, help him, and adore him because she remembers all the kindness he gave her on her “current” (future) life. Of course, Tan Tai Jin didn’t know this until much later on, so he always thinks she madly in love with him. At the start of the novel, Ye Xi Wu is madly in love with him, before SuSu entered her body. However, Xiao Lin only loves YXW’s older sister, Ye Bing Chang, and married to her. Later on, under a spell created by Tan Tai Jin on SuSu, SuSu stabbed him in the back through his heart while he tried to rescue her. The mere fact that she just murdered her own beloved sect brother, and in the most dishonourable way, marred SuSu and Tan Tai Jin’s relationship forever. She couldn’t forgive him, and he knew deep inside his heart she couldn’t (he thought because she was still in love with Xiao Lin lol).

In the 500yrs after, life isn’t good for Xiao Lin, now SuSu’s sect brother. He’s beloved by many, and again, best candidate to lead her sect in the future. However, he got captured while fighting with evil spirits, and from then, he got brainwash to be an “evil” person, so he can be a vessel for all evil spirits so he can be the new demon king. But then they find TTJ, so he got tossed aside, n kinda got tortured by TTJ. Don’t know how they will portray him in the drama though, possibly less dark? And less tragic? Lol.

I think it's a good choice. It will be good to not have a dragged episode which mostly all of the 50-60 episode…
Lol, I love TMOPB but that series has way too much filler lol. Seriously only about 30eps of that were worth watching. I FF so much in that series

Uhm, as much as you explain why you included the rebel, to me that period is more war than crime. It just I can’t take it as a crime series at all lol. Also isn’t the plot of the rebel is about spy?

Woah, woah, woah! I feel like I'm not getting the context of what you're saying... have C-netz sabotaged a Korean…
Netflix isn’t a solution but they do have the money. Like China, at the beginning, all they have was money, everything else was pretty bad: costumes, set, CGI. But after a while, they get better. It has to start from somewhere. The reason why I picked Netflix, not that I like Netflix, gosh, they always produce good first season then butcher the rest of the series 😒 but because unlike China or Korea, where censorship seems to hinder the storyline, Netflix might be able to overcome it as it cater to international fan based. Anyway, it’s hard to adapt these stories with a “baby face/baby age” main character, also it poses the question: why do they feel the need to make the main character go baby form? Is this some kind of fettis I’m not aware of lol. Detective conan, I can give it a pass, but the others, is it necessary lol.

Also manhwa/manga/anime vs real life tv series are very different. Like c-entertainment is fine with all these BL anime, but is now facing a wall with live action version 🤷‍♀️ So same with Koreans I think, they are ok with the way manhwa wrote out 14yo and soah, but who knows how they actually react when they see the live action version lol

Lol, basically, c-netizens have always scream Korean plagiarised their costumes, even though it’s Korean national costume, the hanbok. Now open minded ppls understand culture sharing/influences when 2 countries neighbouring each other, but not the Chinese. So do you think they will just going to sit there and let this series go scorched free lol.

About the 14yo censorship, I’ll just going to say take example of the latest ancient love poetry, there is a huge chunk in the novel where Shanggu was an 8yo, sure the Qingmu was like 18yo? But still, they also treat each other more like siblings, however, there are line described how she stirs his emotions. So while Soah and the 14yo him were bickering like siblings, there were also parts where she stirs his emotions. Cutting to the point, ancient love poetry has her in kid form for like 15mins. So I don’t think they will have him in kid form any longer than this either lol. Again, just super doubting China and their censorship, you might be more optimistic, but I’m so used to set myself up for disappointment that I’m just not as optimistic lol.
I have stopped reading it a while back as when I first read it, it was no where finished, and with bleach made me wait for years, and detective Conan, and other books, I have vowed to not bother until they finished lol. So I’m starting to reread it again lawl. Therefore I can’t say who I have in mind for those roles. All I know is my impression on soah was that she’s very pretty, like stunning lol. So I kinda need someone who is stunning and not girl next door cute

Uhm, TTJ like YBC partly because of her 2 red strings of fate. In the novel, it explains most ppl only have 1 red string of fate. But if you have 2, you can make other like you unconditionally, that’s why Xiao Lin loves her so easily, and Xiao Lin’s good friend also loves her. There’s another part why TTJ “loves” her, it’s because he’s a psychopath, he tried to copy Xiao Lin, everything he does, how he acts towards her is like how Xiao Lin used to act towards her. To him, emotions are a copy thing, he does not genuinely feel anything but hatred and bored by people. Only SuSu can provoke true emotions from him, and he didn’t know or understand those emotions, until the day she agrees to marry him, just then to be betrayed, so he refuses to acknowledge them and think they are foolish things, he ignored listen to his heart and in a sense causing their tragedy 500yrs ago

I am curious, i dont know the K-Drama you are referring to, nor the comics (manwha?) that is based on, since I…
Less population is one, and it’s not something they do? Like China has always had xianxia, though the only one you would know is the monkey King. But back then like 1990s, we have journey to the east, Chinese ghost stories (strange tales) which is a set of stories feature ghost, fairy, etc, and the moon goddess. Like we grew up with it (I’m not Chinese, I’m Vietnamese but the tales are in my childhood, as well as the drama series lol), so we are used to it. Whereas Japan is more into anime, and Korea is more into modern romance series. Naturally they get really efficient at it, so branching out isn’t really benefit them. Like China can reuse their sets, reuse their CGI, their BGM. Korea knows how to make a good romantic drama, low budget but it still gives cdrama a run for its money. Like I enjoyed some modern romantic cdrama, but I would not be able to rewatch 100% of the series. Kdrama though, there are so many I just rewatched and rewatched. Each to their own strength. But I would say once Netflix pick a good partner in term of productions, it’ll be overshadowed China. The only reason why they kinda not because they don’t want to offend the Chinese market. That’s why they just slowly doing it using Taiwanese production companies/actresses. Imagine if they can get their hand on the Chinese actors and actresses, we will have stories how it meant to be, and not dodging around the censorship poles 😒
Chibi Dec 13, 2021
Nice article but no. As in do not let China take this series and adapt it. It will be censored so much that it’ll ruin the story. Better off Netflix with a Korean casts. Also no offend but mainland c-netizens are racist so they won’t accept and will do everything to sabotage this production, from viewing charts to ratings, sound familiar?
Also another problem with the story is the fact that the water god is sometimes appear as a 14yo and sometimes as an adult. While it’s all fine in manga/manhwa, it’s not “cool” in tv 😒 so they will need to do this part well to not irk the non/not yet fans of this IP.

In term of actresses, I know this is your wish list but it won’t happen because you list all the big names as supporter lol. ZLS will no way be a second to anyone now that she reached a new height since the long ballad. I say you have much better chance at switching soah and nakbin lol. Because I have no idea who’s the girl you picked for soah. And to me, Soah is gorgeous, like stunningly gorgeous when she’s make up and everything. So the actress needs to be nice enough without much makeup, yet ethereal/stunningly beautiful when she does. And by just the photos of your actress, I would say she looks nice enough, but won’t be much more stunning when she’s makeup. Anyway, nice article on the legends and connections of the Chinese counterpart to the manhwa though

I tried to read the book that BL’s rumour new role will be in, and after 10 chapters, I was basically skipped to the end lol. It just not as great (feel like so much fillers and not as captivating) as Till the end of the moon lol.

If anything, it’s a good thing. Her character meant to be the most beautiful, delicate to the point no man can…
Uhm, the drama’s title is far from the content, but not really. The novel title is black moon female lead for sure has a BE. Which is quite accurate, throughout the book, everything she did was making her life harder, but she kept making those choices lol. And the English title is not far because in a sense, they have never given up each other. She gave up her life because he made her in so much pains, but she gave everything to him. And then he gave everything to be the man that she could be proud of, and when she realised his feeling, she never given up on finding him.

YBC was basically scheming left and right and making YXW look like she betrayed TTJ, and because TTJ loves YXW so much, her betrayals put a massive dent in their relationship, hence the angst toxic relationship they found themselves in. It was so much that YXW couldn’t explain, so she just took everything in, and he only got a bit clearer when YXW die. But it was too late, so his hatred is compounded by his guilts. It was a very good book lol. At least for 4/5 of it. The last 1/5 was a bit like wth but it could be because it got too long and the translation was horrible lol and I was fatigue for trying to finish the book and it took me 5 days of non stop reading lol, so I skipped and skim a lot. But the first part, the 500yrs in the past was sooo good

Erh nope, he downright killed her in the most tortuous way: he put her in the same jail cell as YXW, but every day, he let a bunch of snakes fed on her, enough to make her surfer but not enough to kill her. She got so tortured that she no longer look pretty. Then in the end, he got her legs and arms chopped off, and she basically turn into a human pig, a term used to describe ppl who got their legs and arms cut off, being fed and live like pigs. And yes, it meant to be dark, because he’s downright a psychopath lol. By birth or by fate designs, he was cold and heartless. Ppl have never been kind to him, so he would never be kind nor trust anyone. YXW was the only one who has been kind to him, but her kindness is not from pure of heart either. It’s a mixture of duty, she can’t kill him as it will make things worse. But at the same time, she knew his harsh life, so she’s pity him. Her mission made her can’t kill him, so she lets her kindness take over and being as kind and loving as she can be. However, she has never waiver and always knows and make sure she will kill him when the time has come

No one’s gonna talk abt the girl plays Ye Bing Chang? In a moment I realised she is extremely beautiful, what…
If anything, it’s a good thing. Her character meant to be the most beautiful, delicate to the point no man can resist her. In the novel, it’s like 3 men “in love” with her, but at the same time, these 3 men can’t help but also falling for SuSu, whose characters are what making them falling in love/admire her, rather than beauty, appear weak and need protection, and have a magical item that make ppl love her.
