the beginning FY already said (it’s fast, so you probably missed it, I did too until the rewatch): he has been searching for 3 months on clue how to activate, n because this stone is from 60000 years ago, there isn’t really any record on how to deal with it. as the series goes on, it might get confusing and seem like a plot hole, but just trust the process n pay attention n everything will be explained to you 🙂 happy watching!

at the same time, the stone protects her from being killed lol. n he has no one else but her to activate the stone, essentially she’s the only one who can use the stone, n get it to where he needs it to be, to get rid himself of the death curse. so yea, she has the position to bargain lol

so I watched this up to ep4 before while it was airing. but back then I was consumed by SOKP n I’m a 1 drama at a time person, so I stopped watching this. the bad reviews have kind made me reluctant to come back to it, but I still watched all the sweet moments 2xSY had together, and have been rewatching those for the past year lol. anyway, just picked it up again yesterday, or today… idk… I have been binging from 1-15 now. and it’s sooo good. I’m loving it 🥰🥰🥰 my first time watching WHD, (heard all the bad criticism about his acting), but I think he did great. love SY 🥰🥰🥰 BL is lovely, I can see why some criticised her for not being “as pretty” as other series, but I like her look in here, it’s different, you would think she has mono eyelids, and when she’s pretty, she’s very beautiful. the OST is great, no annoying character 😱 n all three pairs have great chemistry n storyline! love the cat n mouse between the two SY in the first 15eps 🤣🤣🤣 it made me laughs at how cute these two are! highly recommend to try. and if you don’t like it, nw, there’s plenty of dramas for everyone lol. personally though, this is so enjoyable that I’m afraid for my sleep n mental health (due to lack of sleep 🤣🤣🤣)

it’s the great writing, n acting by everyone. they did very well with this series!

I also have another theory why they don’t use the original story. do you know Game of throne? that series is also not finished, but because the TV series has ended, it affectively kills the audiences’s anticipation for the book, so the author isn’t willing to finish it, but he’s too coward to say so, so all the book fans are in limbo. so it’s actually good that MM doesnt use the original storyline, at least, this will keep the novel’s interest up and it’ll get finished

it’s the kind of time travelling that things that mean to happen, will always happen. so basically, doesnt matter what happen, FY has always meant to enter the realm of resentment and always meant to save MJ.

Well, once the author finishes the book, maybe we get the real adaptation lol. With this one, treat it as fanfics, hope you find something you like to watch
