Okay so the fact that ep 31 at 14:32 is not "The End" right now is HONESTLY hilarious to me... There are in fact ELEVEN more episodes after that.... π
I will say though that the writing almost seems to have changed hands between 30 and 31. FL just "seems" written different to me.
There are different "tiers" of shows so to speak and different levels of promotion that go in to shows that help determine their airing schedule.
The better a show is doing the longer they want it to air because then it will give more people a chance to hear about the show and buy a subscription and watch it. Also, if there are a lot of holidays and what not happening that would affect viewership ratings they will often go down to 1 episode a day so that there isn't a large drop in numbers when people are busy doing things other than watching dramas.
I love the way you broke down your review. Now I want to watch. Is it a HE?
100% They literally don't even revisit the transmigration issue somehow instead using some of the last episode to focus on one of the other characters talking about a VERY VIVID DREAM HE HAD and going slightly crazy and other stuff... π before cutting back over to the main couple for their final scenes π
He did not feel married. He has never seen her and never consummated the marriage.
I watched it and for a couple episodes even "I" was like "plot" is there a plot? idk, idc, I just wanna look at my two pretties as he just STARES at her in adorable love and awe π
Shouhua should not have married him in the first place if later she was gonna say that her ex husband wished she…
No I know.... sorry it's not anything with your opinion, everyone has one about these couples and it's interesting to read the differences in how some people look at the situations as they unfold. You are able to express yourself in a way that I can "sort of" see where you're coming from but it's also so not how I'm seeing the situation that it's personally fascinating to me. I hope this exchange wasn't frustrating for you. β€οΈ
He did not feel married. He has never seen her and never consummated the marriage.
Go watch/finish Money is Coming it's on your CW but you don't have anything listed watched.... now THAT one was good imo π€£
OR if you want another frustrating lies show start Stolen Love - I'm banging my head against my phone watching that one everyday and there are still 12 more episodes of that stupidity π€£ (it's 42 eps long) - it has spice π€‘
He did not feel married. He has never seen her and never consummated the marriage.
I'm not saying you're wrong π But I am seeing a lot of comments about how much SHE lied etc and yet this woman literally sat there listening to him spew his hated at her knowing that he had never met her or learned ANYTHING about her.
This man does not ask questions, he JUST jumps to conclusions... I mean he originally assumed Penny was a prostitute
Shouhua should not have married him in the first place if later she was gonna say that her ex husband wished she…
In your scenario, if I was marrying one man I had never actually seen merely because my mother told me to and then my mother told me, actually, I want you to marry his brother instead (who I also have never met) then it would make no difference to me I were that sort of person who would accept the marriage because my mother told me to from the beginning... π€·ββοΈπ

I'm not sure if English is your 2nd language but it sounds like we are talking about the same comment. There is a group of people that have been going around saying that any project this actress has been doing lately is child abuse simply because she has ANY romance storyline. They say these comments before the show airs so they have no idea what the actual storyline entails for her shows or how the show handles her age.
I am not saying that it IS child abuse, I'm just trying to provide you additional context regarding the actress who plays 5th daughter and why there are comments on the page yelling about child abuse.
He did not feel married. He has never seen her and never consummated the marriage.
He also never bothered to learn Penny's real name though so... π€·ββοΈ Also, all I could think while watching this was "if he's saying all this mean and nasty stuff about a woman he has NEVER talked to or met, and even having misunderstandings when he finally DOES know who the other is... how is this supposed to be romantic?"
There are two types of people:1-False moralists who come here to try to teach us moral lessons. Here everyone…
I'm not part of this group by any means but just to clarify, The "child abuse" comments are not about the ACTUAL story, but rather about the fact that the actress who plays the 5th daughter who will have a romance storyline and be married is only 17. They said the same thing on the comments section for Love in A Dream where she was FL despite there being no kissing, just a single chaste forehead peck and a hug.
Shouhua should not have married him in the first place if later she was gonna say that her ex husband wished she…
I think you are forgetting that HE was the one that had originally said that he wouldn't want a woman to remarry because it would prove she couldn't stay true to her original husband and keep him in her heart. He may or may not have actually thought that at the time he said that BUT that conversation did get back to her and this is conversation she had about her not having wanted to remarry because of her husband's last wishes was a VERY pointed slap at him and his original thoughts. He had wanted this attitude from a wife until it didn't benefit HIM.

I'd read that it's supposed to be a short film created as an ad for Game For Peace called "Want To Go To Your 2025" and it'll be released 2/2... Now whether we get subs or not since GfP is a China only game? π€·ββοΈ
Omg I raged so hard at this show π€£π€£π€£ - This is one of the dumbest shows but at least it still has a semi-coherent plot so it was watchable clownery. The number of times I was like "sign the stupid divorce paper and be done with it" but NOOOOO.... π€£π€£π€£π€‘
