Just saw some videos on TT. How is it? I love Zhou Jun Weiπ₯° Is he the father of the kid?
It is both good AND bad in a entertaining but I want to bash my head in and throw my phone half the time as I scream at my phone kind of way.... does that make sense?
I personally thought today's episode was one of the funniest so far. So many times I was just shaking my head going "his guy is going to get his sooo bad" and then "he's SERIOUSLY asking THESE GUYS for help and advice!?!? The conflict set-ups were kinda sad though, there's going to be a lot of jealousy on his side I foresee in the future.
When he interpreted the blank letter as a positive response, I just π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
That's how I took it too... "If you have so MUCH to say to me why are you writing this dumb letter TELLING me you want to talk to me, I've got nothing to say to you" π€£
The Melodrama is EVERYONE dies at some point. It is VERY repetitive. The last minute HEA makes no sense imo.
As I said, every character has at some point died in the end and sacrificed themselves for the FL. This includes the ML in end as he's fighting with her against the other God. She's all alone and then is brought to the isle and HEAVEN is there. Heaven is the original mystical chick that sent her to the ML. They have a conversation that amounts to "I couldn't kill the hidden God myself so I had to have everyone die so that you could unlock the power of becoming the goddess and kill him. now he's dead and you defied my expectations by never becoming the other goddess but staying yourself so here you go, poof their alive again". she dissappears and ML appears in water and comes to her. Special Episode clarity that indeed EVERYONE that sacrificed themselves was brought back to life.
I practically watch her and Iβm happy DYX will match her character very well. She deserves to be happy
100% ESPECIALLY Since she has seen so far that both of her sisters (and probably herself with her first marriage) had problems with their mother in laws.

This is such an interesting point because I've seen a several people post about how all the daughters are the same and I sit here watching like "are we watching the same show?" They each have similar "TRAITS" being raised in the same family but each one has different hobbies and interests and personalities. I think feeling a kinship towards the oldest is entirely possible since she has such a heavy weight, even her mother, while she WANTS her to remarry isn't thinking about HER future but the other daughters. It's sort of sad because why not think "I could marry the scholar" but instead immediately think my sister needs to have the best so SHE needs to marry the scholar.
I better not see anyone complain when we watch other couple's stories; they give the entire 10 episodes to the…
I actually don't look at it as 10 episodes devoted strictly to Kangning and Chai An because you also had all the backstory and groundwork laid during those episodes. It will allow for the future episode arcs to be shorter because the backstories and conflicts with them don't need to be reintroduced again.
I have so many things to talk about I don't know where to start. First of all, shout out to my best girl Qiong…
She's also the one DYX was initially ACTUALLY intrigued by regarding the whole poetry gathering, they just kept pushing all the schemes onto Kangning. She'll finally have someone who will truly be able to appreciate her sacrifices and her intelligence (eventually).
Oky, this is my opinion after watching 5 eps.Not hate at all to anyone who likes it and sees it. I too honestly…
So that line specifically doesn't get brought up again but she throws back a LOT of his general lines and attitude towards lower class women in general and her family specifically.
Comments did NOT disappoint π€£ I watched ep 24 and immediately started raging myself and I'm so lenient usually…
I had to internally laugh at the situation because here she was out of her mind sick with a fever all night and he's been holding her close to warm her since she shivering (of course....) and then he KISSES her and starts making out with her while she's asleep and then semi-unconscious? π€£
Dude even if she WASN'T being mean calling her husband's name instead of yours on purpose, she's sick and weak.

I mentioned this in a comment below, but this type of one-upping is common in Shakespeare comedies, especially…
There's a lot of SHOWING in this show I've seen so far rather than what is actually said. For me that's one of the things that is standing out to me and if someone is only half watching or half paying attention to what is being "said" they will lose out on half the show. Like I am personally liking the married couple because I can tell that he really DOES love his wife he's just and idiot who doesn't know who he is (a closest masochist apparently π€£) and has had no purpose other than ADHD pretty/shiny distractions. But while everyone was bemoaning the abduction and stupidity involved they overlooked his soft-eyes for her and clear love. He's an idiot but he just wanted to be a hero in her eyes. Sure there was that weird talk about obedience but even HE didn't believe that as he was saying π€£. Because that whole set-up wasn't even about HIM, Chai An was using him to have an excuse to "pull Kangning's pigtails" so to speak and tease her. But in the later scene in the bedroom the couple sleep together, and he indulges her waking him up with her concerns. Again he's stupid but if they didn't love eachother they might have had seperate rooms or at least not been sleeping so close. She would have been shown harping at him not being vulnerable and/or he would have thrown the pillow over his head and snapped something like "I'm sleeping if you're so worried have a servant check" before going trying to go back to sleep and letting the truth slip.
He reminds me of the rich, popular boy who desperately wants to be liked by the girl outside his class. Getting…
When he was first introduced with his pettiness I immediately thought "ahhhh so this is going to be the 'pull the pigtails because I like the girl" type of character and so far he's been doing exactly that π€£ messing things up deliberately, pouting, getting jealous and begging for her attention so he can simp on her quietly from his high horse among his friends... π€£
