most may see xi yang as innocent victim, she was NOT. everything was her own choice and consequences of those choices from beginning to the end. she loved someone he didn't love her back, she KNEW he doesn't even like her BUT she went with him, finally when she understood that he's not gonna change his mind she hated him and wanted to kill him and even kills irrelevant people, this is NOT the story of a VICTIM this a story of a VILLAIN in almost every dramas that I've seen who has a crush on main leads. NOW because this person is MLs sister we can't call her a villain? ridiculous. this the part that I didn't like about their story

WHAT? a kid that has been spoiled toooooo much since birth and an idiot person who betrayed EVERYONE? the girl doesn't understand what's right and what's wrong all she did in jixing was schemes and not for a good cause and her ways were evil and now she wants to be empress:) good luck with that
xia Jingshi was one step behind to win it all and he gave it up to kill FS. that's another decision that I will not accept. I KNOW obsession is strong in some people, but considering everything I don't think his obsession was that strong for FML.
endings are very important in deciding wether a drama is good or not, this ending ruined the drama from being good to a time waster

when I say selfish I mean these things SUCH FML is not a good character, if you right something bad about past you can't do the exact opposite thing to become what you hate, you have to keep the balance

she didn't say it in first 5 or 10 eps where it could've been acceptable, she said it almost 30 eps into the drama, there goes your excuse for her out of the window and NO it's not OK even if a ML lead says something like that when they've been through hell like that
FMLs who have this way of selfish thinking and MLs who bark like dog whenever FML looks at them are a trend in nowadays c-dramas

I dare any male lead in any c-drama when a love interest tells him will you choose me or the FML in around ep30 in the drama to say I'll choose myself:)

they are married in name, they love each other, they have performed that strange ritual of this fantasy world(heart imprint and writing names on the stone) which supposedly makes their bond deeper.
the only 2 things they haven't done, one is they haven't slept with each other the other is she haven't told him her secret, based on these you're telling me you don't think they're really married. then we have a big disagreement here.
look there are right and wrong and some gray areas in every situation. a rejection must be firm and respectful. in the scene that SML basically told her whenever your done with your husband marry me I don't remember her rejecting him in anyway wether even firm or not even if she did he STILL took the hairpin which her husband had given her away. even if after all I said you don't think they're married I think you agree that in that scene(probably ep19) she loves JB don't you?
if someone does something wrong we must blame them wether FML or ML gender doesn't matter if FML somewhere is being wrongly blamed me or you we should defend her in this case the main blame goes to SML obsessive behavior and second the weak will of FML for not doing the right thing

when she gave her hairpin away it was ep19 or 20 and they were already in love it doesn't matter what she thought the intention of JB was when he first gave it to her. (though I think she knew he liked her even then because he was getting softer and him buying her lots of gifts was approval of his affection)
compare how FMLs and MLs reject someone.
for MLs they are always expected to be harsh on the love interest and reject them mercilessly which in 90% of dramas they do that and I have absolutely no problem with it and I think it's good
on the other hand FMLs they always leave the door slightly open they don't close every possiblity which in this drama happened too

I'm on EP 21 I'll say it again she didn't even friend zone him when basically proposed to her and took her hairpin.

NO. did she even try to take back the gift that the man she love had given her?
