no she did not cheat on him they weren't officially in a relationship, but after 30 LONG EPISODES we watched the drama. she still doubted the ML to some point hated him and ignored him. personally for me these are hard to digest.
Finally my torture is over, I finished this drama I'm officially a hater of this drama Specially since many other dramas are airing right now and I wasted time and watched this one My opinions about this drama: 1_the main problem I have with this drama is that the plot is weak and full of loopholes 2_the characters are badly written, ML is obsessed with FML and literally clings to her and stalks her ALL the time. FML is ignorant and sorry to say this but she is stupid. 3_the plot has moral issues (ML trying to kill an innocent to save his friend_ ML obsessing with FML even though she rejects him on a daily basis) 4_ I can't believe that I'm saying this considering i choose this drama to watch because of the main leads but the acting is bad. SWL character is too shallow I can not blame him too much but still I'm disappointed. And about JJY let's just say after watching "veil of shadows" I had high expectations from her in this drama she showd me I shouldn't. From now on I am very careful if I want to watch a drama directed by this director and a plot written by this writer One more thing if a man pursues a woman like ML does, if the woman doesn't reciprocate his feelings and he still INSISTS this is STALKING, STOP showing this in cdramas. STOP throwing dignity of men under bus for getting more views.

at first hiust like you I would dislike such FMLs too, but then I realized this is not something which happens once or twice this almost every single time in especially cdramas. this is not FML or ML fault the problem is the way of thinking in that writers have it is disgusting
ok, at this point I'm BEGGING every single writer and director of Cdramas: when a FML reject the ML again and again and again PLEASE let the ML take the hint and goes ahead with his life. you can always bring them back together by accidents or fate or whatever you wanna call it. this OBSESSION that MLs have in the ENTIRE cdramas towards FMLs is not a good moral lesson that you would want to show your audience. men have DIGNITY and women have BOUNDARIES. respect them BOTH.
I'm on ep14, gotta say I LOVE the FML character, she is caring towards the ML. this quality is super rare in cdramas. I HATE FMLs of cdramas bcs they put much less in their relationships (maybe less than 15 percent) but I watch cdramas bcs the sacrifices of MLs and the effort they put in their relationships is truly beautiful. Ye Li is so precious, I hope the writers create more FMLs like her in future (another good FML like YeLi was in 'a moment but forever' I liked her too)
I'm on ep10 the character DengYi is a loophole to the story so: 1 negative point first he wants to help XiaoXun but then FML talks to him and he agrees to help then she gives him what he wants and more now he decides he need a plan B in case FML throws him out, understandable. so he again turns to XiaoXun and wants to help him escape which FML realizes and warns and even offers him a better situation. NOW THE LOOPHOLE: DY is a smart man, XiaoXun is his plan B NOT his plan A, his first plan is supporting FML which is a better option for him considering that she is constantly giving him money and power to keep him on her side. BUT no he INSIST on betaying the FML and making her his enemy. it's not logical! if you're backup plan doesn't work change it not to go ahead and f up your first plan too. Dear writer, what are you doing? is everything ok?
another thing about the drama is DengYi knows XiaoXun and the crimes he committed STILL he helps him escape because of his selfish desire, THIS act of his makes him an accomplice to every single sin of XiaoXun. BUT by the way story goes in this ep I have a strong feeling he DengYi is gonna be forgiven in the end which if it actually happens is another serious negative point in my opinion

1_his mother being a failure is a loophole to the drama, it was a way for the writer to make FML feel less useless. sorry if I CAN NOT believe a woman who has been taking care and supporting a family of 3 for more than a decade under heavy debts and abusive and stupid husband, is so irresponsible and stupid that can't even calculate her own money, goes shopping and gambles her money away, HOW on earth is that possible?(ML started working for only 2 years she has been taking care of him SINCE BIRTH) 2_it was so unrealistic for him to go back to school because of their circumstance. he had a bright career without going back to school , he could go back and get his diploma much later whenever the pressure was less on his family. considering the situation they were in i wouldn't call her keep guilt tripping him to do what is not a good choice، caring for his future. instead supporting HIS decision she was just another weight on his shoulder during his toughest time 3_about deleting the contacts you're telling me the exact thing the writer told us. but I rather look at what she actually did. first deleted the contacts and literally said too reach to my level you say this is encouragement I say it's a stupid way to encourage someone there are MANY other ways to encourage him. second not ONCE did she call him to even ask how are you. third when her friend asked why didn't you call , she said quote "I have my pride" what?? pride against who and for what? when he was serving you like a master for a whole year he didn't have a pride? fourth her father told her by the way you talk even you know that you're dating down. He is just PERFECT and FML except being a nerd is useless. at one point FMLs father tells her by the way you talk , you know that you are dating down. I seriously wanted to tell the writer what is going on in your mind exactly?? the way you designed this ML both father and daughter should truly BE HONRED that they're gonna have a son in law like him. 2_ MLs mother: the writer at first wanted to show her as someone irresponsible and a total mess who doesn't even know how much money she has or earns considering that she would spent LOTS of money on gambling and shopping when she was already deep in debt and the mess she caused during the show, the reason was to first give FML a moment to show she is not that useless, second to add drama in MLs life. this is sooo unacceptable for me because MORE than 10 years someone like her took care of that family. we CAN NOT forget that ML only started working 2 years what about before that? it was all his mother. this already shows that she is both hardworking and responsible. 3_ another horrible cliche in cdramas forgiving those who commit crime or do smt terrible to the leads, first FML forgives her bully who among other things literally sends thugs in her way so she can just score higher in an exam. and then ML forgives a criminal who stabs him TWICE and after that he threatens him that when he is done with ML he is gonna go for his sister. REALLY?? for forgiving someone like that you are either STUPID or a saint. I'm so upset that I wasted my time on this drama, big mistake. this is a fairytale.
