the question I have from every single c-dramas is WHY female lead doesn't reject a love interest firmly?? almost 90% of MLs reject a love interest early and FIRM they leave no questions behind. for FMLs are like, I like you too and you have value to me so I do don't wanna reject you NOW. THIS is disgusting

you are so wrong, EVERYBODY in the court are his enemy, if he doesn't want the crown that means the future empress dowager is his enemy and most probably even the next emperor is his enemy.
hi killed ONE person and a few bodyguards and he thought that's it? ridiculous. Hatred breads hatred, as a commander of a powerful army he has to know this logic better than anyone.
understand this, he is the first son of emperor, he is the rightful heir to the throne. his choice to leave all that to go roam the world and do whatever he wants for that so called freedom is both idiotic and irresponsible

exactly how STUPID can you be to think just because YOU don't want to be empror they're gonna let you live? oh you wanna be free, NO ONE is free. everyone has responsibilities and you have a duty to protect your people. if you don't wanna be king then they WILL kill you and everyone around. this is not SOOOO hard to understand for a prince with his experience, making such a mistake is not his fault it's the producers fault and THAt is the reason why this is a very very bad LOOPHOLE

one loophole in this good drama:

exactly what I feel about her, I'm on EP 28, her betrayal to her own brother just angers me so much to say this is what you deserve
she even threatens her husband if you harm my brother I'll kill you, REALLY? when he shot your brother you didn't seem so angry to me at all, now that you FINALLY found out he doesn't like you one bit you remember your brother?

c-dramas have always showed forbidden loves.
this is a really tricky subject which they must thread carefuly. a forbidden love may ONLY become acceptable in very special situations.
in this drama there 2 of them one is FSG and FYX they are enemies whi ch have killed many of each others comrades. this story is going well so far, they're getting to know each other and put their self in each others shoes, this is good.
BUT the other one is FXY and XJS, she fell in love with him in first sight?? knowing that he is his brother mortal enemy she still wanted marry him? who is her brother, he is the one who has ALWAYS protected her and adored her treasured her. THIS is the kinda romance that is absolutely FORBIDDEN. you forgot all about your brother with just one glance at his enemy? this romance is ridiculous and her act is the definition of betrayal.

ok, her mistake nearly got him killed and made his enemies sure to know about his weakness. what was his mistake again? ignored her feelings, sent her out of the city to protect her? you called that a mistake? even if you do her mistake was forgiven with a simple apology and his mistake was forgiven with begging for forgiveness again and again، being the servant of that entire workshop and being humiliated over and over? and you call this LOVE?
brother get a hold of yourself this so called FML doesn't deserve you on bit
double standards in C-DRAMAS are getting more and more RIDICULOUS

I agree with every single world you wrote, this is not the first c-drama that have this kinda in my opinion wrong morality. when I write my reviews in them some people like it some criticize it but it never happened that someone actually talks about rights or wrongs or some lines that shouldn't be crossed like you. when I saw your reply on my comment I was touched to realize that even in a world where morality seems to be fading, some people still hold on to their values

ok so after his first meeting with his DEAD brothers wife he is actively pursuing her. I'm asking everyone is that a right thing to do really? doesn't it bother you one bit? bro AT LEAST show a little restraint. he is doing it not like an innocent youth, he is doing it like an expert player. touching her in EVERY opportunity he gets and invading her personal space. In a normal situation as a guy myself I'm telling you all he is more dangerous and a bigger threat than the whole Lu and Ye family for her, but this is more like a fairytale so idk what say.
a good way to show this kinda love is to say that because of his brother and the brutality of his family he wants to protect her from harm and care for her. in time he grows to have feelings but because of his brother he controls himself untill it gets out of his hands.
what they're showing us in this drama is NOT an innocent youth, he is a scumbag and a player.

what moral code? the guy is basically serial killer he kills just to reach his goals
what sexual assault? did he actually do it? defeat what point? the guy wanted XQS to rape her which he didn't. ok his dignity saved. killing her is something else, that's justice for every single human being she has killed.
who are you even defending? what is going on in your mind?

LSF is guilty not just because of massacring Xiao family(even if he didn't killed them, what about the deciples of the Xiao family weren't they human too??). he has killed lots of other innocents too. here are examples: those 2 grandmasters(the monk and the other guy)_ the real Cheng fang_ the butler of Xiao family_ etc. he killed all of them direct or indirect. these are all those we see just in the plot we still don't know how many evil deads he has done for power gang to be in the position of the right hand of the chief today.
look chivalry and righteousness doesn't mean anything without JUSTICE if you can't punish not a normal criminal but a mass murderer like LSF you are hypocrite and not trustworthy.

in EP 21 he saved the red phoenix first and then let her go just like that?? I mean he literally let one of those who massacred his family go, how am I suppose to believe he's actually gonna take revenge on liu siufeng?? he's definitely gonna forgive him.
let me remind you something liu siufeng is unforgivable. his sins is too much, there is tooooo much blood on his hands, the blood of INNOCENS. I don't care how much girls think he is sexy or omg he had a tough childhood I wish I could change him, No. he has to die AND not a simple death with regrets, he has to die as a villain who deserves death.
the typical way of c-dramas is that they forgive even mass murderers like liu siufeng, this has to change

by these kinda dramas I mean the kind that main leads (almost always FML) time skips to past or from modern days goes in a fantasy world

the ending of these kinda dramas are always like this because of censoreship, am I right?
