Can't wait for the finale. I think this all was needed to show Ga On the light. And now he knows finally really…
Yes they told him things and he believed it with zero resistance to actually find the truth. GO never understood KYH but always considered him someone to object to and change. KYH never asked for anything but gave him a choice to be with him or against him. GO always was the one with terrible communication skills and whenever he wanted to know something, he always started it with accusing KYH with something someone told him! KYH never trusted him, with his strawberry view of the world, because he simply didn't have what it took to fight against the antagonists. GO never searched or look for the evidence to believe that KYH did do that, he simply believed what SH and the professor told him. GO prespective is weak and filled with holes devoid of logic.
What can he do? The guy can't even think on his own and i doubt he can go against the political and judicial system…
Yes! He's a judge himself. I don't know what he was thinking, seriously. To write a character like KGO against a character like KYH is like writing the Donkey from "Shrek" against Bruce Wayne from "TDKR". They simply don't match or even make sense to be characters in the same plot.
Can't wait for the finale. I think this all was needed to show Ga On the light. And now he knows finally really…
"Why would he not believed the professor?" Well (1) because he's a judge and he should know better than to destroy someone life's work on the basis of his professor telling him so without a shredd of plausible proof, (2) because he didn't even question the hypocrisy of the professor when you could see the professor specific hate and prejudice against KYH only and not the whole corrupt system, (3) because he should know KYH at this point or atleast put in an effort to believe that he wouldn't kill his own brother till a solid proof is obtained and (4) because he should have learned to be someone who knows better than to decide on people's biased claims towards a person who's fighting against the whole country.
What can he do? The guy can't even think on his own and i doubt he can go against the political and judicial system…
The only way i would be surprised is for KYH to be with Elijah and KGO to pay the price for his choices. The possibility of that happening is 1% at most considering the writing throughout the drama.
What can he do? The guy can't even think on his own and i doubt he can go against the political and judicial system…
The writer is a judge himself and i can't believe he wrote a character like KGO whose fictional existence makes me question the credibility of a judge.
You see the problem with KGO isn't his naivety (even when he shouldn't be), his idea of right and wrong or his struggle to let go of his morals in a world devoid of morality but everything wrong with him is the simple facts of his character; stupidity, hypocrisy and self righteousness. He's stupid but isn't self aware and ironically sets himself on a pedestal when he confronts someone like KYH (because KYH doesn't succumb to stupidity and unrealistic morals) and he thinks he has the right to do so. He's a hypocrite but at the same time self righteous. His righteousness comes from his moral high ground and people around feeding him with false values. He can't decide for himself but people and situations around him do so for him but he still stays on his pedestal even when the pedestal is built by people around him with lies and unrealistic morals with zero contributions of his own. He doesn't have the IQ to be in this game between KYH and the devil. He is emotionally unstable because he's absorbed in self pitying and only cares about himself. He hasn't even realised K being missing (or others) and KYH pushing himself to the end line to fight. The only thing he's concerned about is himself and SH's definitions of right and wrong. He doesn't have the character to change or admit what he really is; an indecisive, ignorant, hypocritical and a stupid brat. His only retribution is paying for his choices or maybe the writer decides to provide him with plot armor necessary to combatt his instinctive stupidity (which is terrible writing at this point).
If Ga On stayed Idle while watching Yohan dying or destroyed of this injustice and the finale ended on this tragedy…
What can he do? The guy can't even think on his own and i doubt he can go against the political and judicial system of the whole country with his inability to process a coherent and logical thought or decision. He isn't KYH (however much the stupid plot tells me so). The only way i see that as a possibility is if the writer gives him the plot armor of superman and batman squashed together. I can't even believe someone like him succeeded in becoming a judge. The guy has an IQ of 50 and the emotional stability of a 7 years old kid.
KGO is the biggest fucking mess of a shit I've ever come across in the arena of the dumbest and most frustrating MLs ever. He has no values, no internal compass, have the brain of a rat and the personality of a dead tree. He's just there with absolutely no purpose to the plot but a delusional hindrance in the way of KYH. I can't believe KYH is paying the price for his stupidity and yes it is a sin and a crime to be stupid in a world where it will harm people. I know the writer will pull the all happy nonsensical ending for him but i swear, if KYH and Elijah aren't together as a family at the end, i will fucking lose it. Can i atleast hope that KGO will pay a price and not KYH in his stead? Can i, please?
Just because you're offended doesn't mean he's a homophobe (the term actually encapsulates certain defined things and it doesn't include the situation of a gay person feeling offended by a simple statement). Nothing he said could categorise him as a homophobe just because he stated that he thinks gay people have certain personality traits. If you want to argue about the scientific data then there's actually studies that show that sexual orientation does affect personality or more accurately the personality differs with people of different sexual orientation and same sex. If you simply are refusing to listen to his explanation just because you felt offended isn't a reasonable or even a probable cause to label him as a homophobe.
Why are most K-Drama screenwriters so bad at writing "good boys"? It's like once they get the assignment of writing…
The thing is, being unrealistically nice and devoted to the FL stems sympathy and an actual likeness, towards the efforts and patience shown by the nice guy (compared to the more flawed and realistic MLs), in the audience (the audience being majorly females). Every 2nd ML (okay fine, majority of them) feeds on those emotions to be important to the story. Otherwise 2nd MLs are a bunch of unrealistic, boring and pretty entitled fellows. They wait for the FL to leave the ML so they can be with her because they are 'nice' and even when they make little sense with the FL compared to the ML (who are actually flawed, have a personality, actually have a life except simping over the FL and overall more human hence relatable) from a storytelling point of view. I'm a 19 years old male and was rejected by a girl when i was 17 because she liked somebody else. What did i do? 'I am still waiting for her because.......' NO I DIDN'T WAIT FOR HER. I simply moved on. Sometimes life is like that and one needs to know how to cope with the fact that not everything you want will end up in your hands. These 2nd ML are so frustrating to me. Like common buddy, move on. It's not like there will not be another girl or another love.
Why are people do badly obsessed with Do Hyuk when the guy doesn't even know NB properly? Just because JE is clearly the wrong choice, DH isn't any better. At this point, NB ending up with DH is just bad writing and NB ending up with JE would be boring writing. The only proper way is for her to end up with herself. She is clearly a mess and needs to reevaluate her values and self esteem while JE just needs to do whatever the hell he wants, as for DH, that guy can just go and stop being obsessed with a girl he doesn't even know. P.S. Why the hell is no one talking about Bit Na. She is as messed up as our main leads.
lol this is not a webseries or some YA romance series where bare minimum done by cast is applauded by majority…
Exactly. This is a high budget show with great actors. Jin Young is barely passable when he shares the same frame with Ji Sung and alike. His acting range is still far behind and that takes away alot from the overall screen effect. "He is psychometric" is still his better drama performance wise.
In my opinion, the intention of the creators is to show the whole truth about the events and characters at the…
Yeah we have a term for that; plot twist not manipulation. The moral weight to trust in a fictional character is nonexistent and it's nonsensical that beliefs held about the character prior to the twist can be equivalent to manipulation in reality. Wake up, buddy. This is an exaggerated fictional story about fictional characters set in a world that's pretty unrealistic (not that i dislike that). Sure you can analyse characters and maybe even explain them but false beliefs held in a character or the story because the writer hid things throughout is the farthest thing from manipulation in reality.
I don't know how anyone can call Soo Hyun an unnecessary character in a drama when she is the one who finds out…
No and how about analysing the whole character and not just cherry pick things about her. Her whole character had absolutely no point in the show except the nonsensical romance with KGO. Before trying to credit her with an unknown only achievement (till now) which, hypothetically, will come to fruit in the final 2 episodes when she's supposed to be one of the main characters to drive the story forward is naive if not stupid. If the writer wanted us to know the reality of the fire, literally any of the character would have sufficed. To create a useless main character whose only achievement is basically nothing but be a romantic interest for another pretty weak character is bad writing. I don't know why you're so bent on defending the characters with weak arguments.
