A great scholar? Defo no. He makes a good constable or auditor though…… but is this kinda person a good or bad person…..? I actually found him to be neutral/in the middle right from the start….. more than finding him to be a good guy, I actually found him to be annoying…. I find it to be a physical appearance thing, and also the way he fights although Jet Li was a real wushu artist……. Coz I was quite shocked when they showed him in the last scene…. In the modern haircut. I was like 😳 wot happened….. he looks so…… 🤔 not charming…… 🤣

Couldn’t agree more…… as much as this is fiction but I ended up Googling so many historical events (which I never knew)…… because of how accurately they’ve weaved facts into the plot….
Just felt it was a very uncomfortable watch from the get go because of how there were too many parties/camps, and too many genres thrown together which felt kinda off…. BUT the strong cast inc. the supporting cast and the sufficient budget got me hooked… living during that era must have been so strange and uncomfortable.
