Oh wow. The trailer is amazing…. I’m kinda neutral towards the actress who plays the FL but she was pretty amazing in the trailer. And has a natural chemistry with the ML….
I love this drama but I swear that guqin battle was so freaking hard to watch when they pulled out those cgi scenes…
Haha, I actually thought so too! I was kinda at awe with the first one, the butterflies and cranes….. it was a pretty creative idea coz it is still kinda borderline feasible in reality……. But when the 2nd one appeared I was like why on Earth did they do this… uh………. like her avatar and some CGI monster…… I’m like…… 😳😳🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ and how is it possible that everyone could see that…………………….
They probably should have changed it and went for the weather…. It started off as that….. like the wind, leaves, so they should have continued changing the weather and maybe flowers, trees blooming, dying instead………
Xiao Heng (Duke Su) - he was able to clear his father's name and after rebellion was sent to Dai country to make…
Yeap. I’m pretty sure. YMY is played by a different younger actor, coz the role itself was a younger character. He had quite a significant part in the earlier episodes in the Ye family arc….. I wouldn’t have noticed it if it wasn’t for the Jiang vs Ye last name, I’m really bad with names…. Coz whilst reading it, it came off as kinda odd. Like a Ye dude expelled from a Jiang family, that’s basically impossible…

He got expelled from Jiang family right? So he has to be from the Jiang family, i.e with the last name of Jiang, can’t be someone with the Ye surname… if you go back to the last episode, only 2 sons left (as opposed to 3) in the carriages for Yongzhou.. Basically the one that got expelled was the father of Jiang Yu’E…
think there was an error in the subtitles to begin with because both are named “3rd uncle” in Mandarin… only difference is one of them is her maternal 3rd uncle and the other is her paternal 3rd uncle… but when the subtitles translate it they just use actual names…. And there was an error there….
Wow…. Wu Jin Yan in a 8.8 drama since Yanxi Palace……. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I thought Legacy was awesome, sadly I was in the minority…. Happy for her, can’t wait for this to finish airing so I can start!! ❤️❤️❤️
The convos are ultra funny but I loved the conversation they had at his house, at his dining table. I loved how…
I’ve never really witnessed anything close to any of the things depicted in Kdramas… I mean name calling, being verbally mean, boys fighting etc…. Yea, I’ve witnessed them and it happens everywhere, it has existed eons ago. It is all part of growing up and going to school…. For me, it never even crossed my mind to bully anyone…. I mean you just don’t have the time and a normal person would never even think of doing that….
But like literally ganging up and beating a person until they land up in hospital or like with broken bones… or like frequent extortion etc. this is just ultra crazy on a different level. And the most bizarre thing is there is no reason for it aside from that person being shy, quiet, a loner etc. gosh. How is this a norm….. 🤦🏻♀️ But that convo showed that Jae Min has no remorse, and in no way thinks it’s his mistake……. I typically avoid these kinda Kdramas because I don’t really understand the sadistic nature although I know it happens frequently in S.Korea.

lol. I meant Jae Min has low IQ… let me edit my post to reflect it….
Yea, it does look like it’s a norm in their schools. I mean it’s crazy, why do they do it…..?? I mean all schools in every country have bullying of some form, but it’s usually never a norm…. This is madness. After watching this I think the moral of the story is all high school kids in S.Korea should attend martial arts classes. 🤣🤣🤣 esp studious/quiet kids….
OMG I rarely see people who also have pineapple allergy… it’s so unexpected to see it here haha
I’ve actually met someone allergic to oranges…. Like his reaction is also swelling up of the esophagus… so he carries an epi-pen… I remembered this vividly because I thought it was sooooo strange that someone is only allergic to only oranges. I remembered asking him if he was allergic to lemons, lime etc….
Jae Min: Caramel Macchiato? I guess it's Japanese. Also Jae Min: You were trying to kill me back there, weren't…
The convos are ultra funny but I loved the conversation they had at his house, at his dining table. I loved how they depicted the entire conversation, flashbacks on the bullying…. No ounce of remorse…. Also how Kim Deuk Pal stands his ground and lectures him, it was very realistic….. Jae Min might have a low IQ… but empathy, remorse, regret has nothing to do with that….
Makes you wonder how bad the bullying situation is in S.Korean schools…. So manyyyy K-dramas are based on bullying themes…
I don’t think it’s translated into English though…. I think I was too pissed at the ending and I ended up Google-translating the ending of the book.
Thx for sharing.

…………….. LOLLLLLL……. 🤣🤣🤣 I can’t believe they didn’t laugh coz I burst out laughing….

Just reading this…. Is madness…. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jun/07/we-torment-others-the-dark-side-of-south-korean-school-life-bullying-school-violence
