I actually prefer the TV series…….. the novel develops in a way whereby they mixed too much emotion with political fights…… so the thing becomes heavier and heavier….. sombre as it loses balance. It became pure politics like post mid-way of the novel…….

Wang Juan made it a very balanced and multifaceted plot…..

lol I’m in the minority whereby I didn’t like NiF as well, I finished it and realised I was neither entertained nor did I learn anything…. How sad.

So I actually thought NiF 2 was much better than NiF in terms of plot….

The plot was changed but it is around 253…….? So I’m not sure if you are aware…. But the fake death thing didn’t happen in the novel…….

I’ve read bits and pieces of the novel coz it’s just wayyyyyyyyyy toooooo long. I actually don’t think FX knows until the end, or might have no idea even until the end in the novel. Something like that. I’m not 100% sure.

lol, honestly speaking aside from being a bit short, I find that actress pretty androgynous. I remember when I first watched JoL, after it ended I went to check if it was an actress or actor who played that part, just to be sure…. 🤣
