I have a feeling that Jae Min loves Kim Su Hyeon and not Da On. Otherwise, why would he do this to the person…
If you ever dealt with Narcissistic people, you know that they get “kick” from the control they have over other people. Jaemin is very typical in that. He likes Da On but not enough to start a relationship with him, he likes the push and pull game he plays with Da On. That game was very visible in episode 2, he initiated contact, but than the next morning pushes Da On harshly away with gaslighting him over him stepping over a line. I wonder if the people still thinking Jaemin is a good guy have seen episode 4, because there it is very clearly shown that he is a toxic, abusive, controlling, obsessive person. He also likes the control he has over Su Hyeon, you can’t really see Jaemin his feelings as real because the people in his life are all just people with which he is playing, his very cruel game with. You ask why would Jaemin do that the person he loves. But that isn’t love, Da On is just somebody who gives him currently “supply”. But for him, mentally Da On is his, in his crazed mind, he thinks he owns Da On. Jaemin can do with Da On what he wants because he owns him and he just temporarily “shares” him with Su Hyeon. Him saying the line “Da On started to go astray proves that. Any sane and normal person doesn’t think like that. A normal person doesn’t have the “If I can’t have him, nobody can” mentality and is actively acting on it.
i feel like this "jaemin was evil all along" twist isn't even really a twist!!! ike obv yeah ofc it's a twist…
You could see it coming, I mean the first 2 episodes gave a couple of hints. Especially the big one where Jaemin asked Da On to stay, laying in his shoulder for comfort, initiating contact. And than the next day gas lighted him by saying Da On is constantly stepping over the line or something of that trend. And asking him to leave in a very cold and detached voice. That was definitely the moment I thought I don’t think he is such a good guy as he pretends to be.
I saw a comment yesterday that said these characters are two-dimensional. I couldn’t disagree more. The layers…
I wonder if the guy who Su Hyeon smashed the bottle on top of his head, was the guy who was hired by Jaemin to drug and SA/take pictures of Da On. Ny mind started to connect them but I’m not sure, because I don’t believe it was Jaemin who was lying on that couch.
Especially the gaslighting Jaemin did. It was Jaemin who made the move to lay his head on Da On his shoulder,…
Agreed! Yet I can somewhere see Su Hyeon having a redemption arc, how crazy that might sound. I can see Su Hyeon confessing and than letting go of his obsession over Da On, maybe moving back to the states. I Don’t see that happening with Jaemin, people like him don’t tend to change. (Even if GMMTV tends to end series wirh fairy tale endings of people doing a 180)
“Da On started to go astray”. That sentence gave me the chills. Da On isn’t from anybody, acting as if he is your pet or dog is just so disgusting! Both Jaemin and Su Hyeon are too cowardly to confess to Da On their feelings, yet they act like they own him. Both are so crazy obsessed with Da On. But I can see Su Hyeon having a redemption arc, he seems to have less the attitude of “if I can’t have him nobody can”. He has major aggression issues, that he needs to fix or let go of! But I can see that those issues started by / coming from Jaemin manipulations. He seems to mostly want to protect Da On. Where, as what Jaemin is doing is just all out toxic, hiring a guy to drug the guy you like, taking pictures of said guy while he is unconscious. Like where do the manipulations stop, how much more are they going to dig up? Da On “going astray” was 7 years ago, what did Jaemin do in those 7 years?! How many other potential love interests has he chased away? Or has he Da On so wrapped around his finger, that there haven’t been any love interests?
As for Da On I was rooting for him and Seong Hyeon to end up together, but after tonight’s episode, I kind of hope that Seong takes a step back. Unless Da On really starts to let go off Jaemin, I see Seong being just a rebound. And I would hate if such a nice, sweet, loving person to be hurt or traumatized by that.
The moment Jung Daon confessed his love to Jaemin and he rejected him, it was very clear that Jaemin hyung was…
Especially the gaslighting Jaemin did. It was Jaemin who made the move to lay his head on Da On his shoulder, it was he, who asked Da On to stay the night. It’s not crazy for Da On to see those moves as signes that Jaemin actually also likes him. But when he confesses Jaemin tried to accuse him of stepping over the boundary, line, whatever (can’t remember what he exactly said). And then coldly Da On to leave and walked out. Thats no way to treat your friend. it was that moment that I thought oh that guy is going to be a big issue. Personally for me that would have been the moment to step back from that friendship. If not completely break that friendship completely, but than again I seem to be very hard in these things. I personally wish Da On stopped simping for a guy who hadn’t even have the decency to be kind and lied to him. (the whole meeting with Su Hyeon)
Nope you are not the only one, honestly I had to restart the first 5 minutes 4 or 5 times because I wasn’t paying…
I’m sorry but I don’t see it. I don’t know why you are trying to correct my personal opinion, but this is how I feel about Faifa and Wine. Maybe Junior and Mark have done great in other series but in this one, I don’t see it! I don’t get why you are saying it depends on each and everyone’s taste and liking, yet when I collaborate why I don’t connect to Faifa and Wine, you tell me that i shouldn’t bring chemistry into the conversation. Your reaction is very mixed, you say one thing but in the same reaction you also say another thing!
Anyone else fast forwarding through this couple? I was excited to see them start their story, but something is…
Nope you are not the only one, honestly I had to restart the first 5 minutes 4 or 5 times because I wasn’t paying attention to what was said. Personally Yotha and Gun were my favorites, I just find Faifa so exhausting, I’m sorry for the fans. I haven’t been able to connect with the couple from the first episode, Faifa came on way too strong and not subtle in any form and Wine looks constantly uncomfortable. Maybe it’s because we have been spoiled by PerthSanta natural chemistry and connection with each other, which makes watching Yotha and Gun feel a joy.
Is it true that PerthChimon will come back together as partner because I saw Forth mention about them in Tiktok…
Forth misspoke and was immediately corrected that it was PerthSanta, no it’s not true! Haven’t you seen the LOL 2025 poster? It has PerthSanta their mascot!
The first two things I wanna say after watching this EP - I WANNA SMACK HARD Achi sooooo bad currently, just like…
Right?! I was practically screaming like you just stand there while your friend is getting slapped? He heard the story of that fiancé almost slapping Phu the first time and he actually fell for some kind of sad sob story she fed him. How gullible and naive are you for believing that. Personally for me the friendship had been over at that point, if you fail to protect me and helped lure me into a conversation with a person that has been violent before.
It’s one thing to fall for a sob story and to try and get your friend, to somebody who has a bad history with that person. It’s a whole different story that you let your friend be slapped by said person and you do absolutely nothing to prevent of protect that friend.
You know how we said boys don't hit girls? Scratch that! That shouldn't apply in the situation with Phu and that…
I honestly was rooting for it. I’m a big fan of not hitting anybody, doesn’t matter what gender. But that all goes out the window the moment somebody lays their hands on somebody else. Then all is fair, I honestly hoped he did slap her back, it was justified. Even if it’s not the most mature thing to do!
I am confused with why are so many of you confused😅. Like, everything that needed explaining was explained…
It’s the same thing what happened with 4 minutes, everything was explained and spelled out during the last episode. Some people already had that theory weeks before. But most people didn’t like the series because they didn’t understand the series. You need to pay attention and stay focused during these kind of series, it’s not all fluff. Honestly I didn’t find I hard to follow or understand.
Anyone here feels like this is more like Japanese BL than Korean BL?? I feel like in this series the students…
From what I’m used to of South Korean BL this feels somewhat strangely unusual. Maybe it’s the quality, I’m used to South Korea having really good BL. For example Jazz for two, love for love sake, Semantic error and the eight sense. This feels I don’t know a bit of a let down? It’s light but just not hitting the goal?
Once again I am reminded why I love PerthSanta. They have great chemistry and are incredibly comfortable with…
They have a logo and a mascot, usually those only are given out by GMMTV for fixed couples. I think Gmmtv is intending them to stay a couple. Also they have 2 more series for this year, in which one they have main lead (couple) parts.
So they literally changed and added scenes in this arc too ,i should have never bought novels waste of my money.…
Personally I disliked Faifa for butting into Yotha and Gun their problems. To the point that Faifa abandoned, ghosted his own brother to ‘protect’ Gun from big bad Yotha. The lecture he gave Yotha when he came looking for Gun made me like him even less. It was Faifa who without even communicating or asking to Yotha, decided to switch rooms. It’s was he who put Gun in their room, but somehow it was Faifa who expected Yotha to give up his bar nights to take care of Gun. Which Yotha did non the less, but Faifa could have at least asked.
I wish they sticked to the books, but than again the director is New, he’s been screwing up series left, right and center.
