sorry if this will probably be a weird question but why do people in thai bls (kdramas too) always park in reverse?!?…
I mean, it's easier to pull out that way - especially when you're anticipating alot of traffic (like say, when all the students are getting out of class). It's easier to see the cars and people coming and going. It can be quicker too, especially if the parking lanes are kind of narrow.
OK, hear me out. I thought it was decent. A few negatives - too much introduced too fast. Especially with everyone…
Agreed on so many points! It is definitely a different story than usual, which is why i’m tuning in.
But just fyi, the intimate scene in the beginning is actually 2 scenes. Fah and Sher on their respective one night stands. They havent been in the bedroom together to determine any sort of dynamics yet.
(Trust me, i was confused too, i only realized when i rewinded to get a better grasp of character identities. I was actually laughing at first about the “continuity error” with the pants.)
I didn't think he was a homophobe - he's just frustrated that his love interest is obsessed wih a gay man. But…
I didnt interpret the crowd as homophobes. That felt very clearly like some idolization nonsense.
But yea, theres always the chance that the translation was off and he’s just an infuriatingly overdramatic jealous boy - as opposed to a homophobe. I guess we’ll see.

Yea, i was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt because he is frustrated with the Pink situation.
But theres just too much happening: - his reaction when the gossipers were talking about the kiss at the beginning of the episode - him conflating bi and gay in the same sentence - making it sound like it’s a bad thing - despite being in some sort of position of authority, having no reaction at all to the misgendering of Anna at the script meeting - And then theres his reaction in the preview for next episode.
not a great start... seems a bit old fashioned to me and what was the point of the scene where the dude insulted…
I think it’s to show Tar’s character (since he didnt do anything at all about the situation even though he’s supposed to be partially in charge i think?). Because we also see that he’s at least a bit homophobic. Between him conflating bi and gay in the same sentence, making it sound like a bad thing that doesnt deserve Pink’s crush, and then almost puking at the bathroom scene in the preview.
Its probably gonna be one of the sources of tension with that ship. Or he’s gonna be some sort of villain character fueled by his homophobia and desire to get Pink to stop paying attention to Fah. Or it’s gonna be some social commentary.
Also, transphobia is quite rampant in Thailand and the BL industry. So it might be trying to saying something about that later on. Just because it’s present doesnt mean that the writers are supporting it.
Had to rewatch the first 10 minutes to unravel all the characters in my head. They might as well have introduced them all at once in a line up. In fact, that mightve been better at linking faces to names, honestly.
Fah is annoying. Sher is intriguing. The second couple (Prince and Gear) looks like it’ll be cute. Trying my best to withhold judgement on the third couple (Ping and Tap). The fourth couple/duo need to go off somewhere. What purpose do they serve? Restrained fujioshi meets homophobe? Unless they turn into some subtle social commentary, Im not really interested. And do i spot a 5th with Tle and Non?
wow very shocked at these comments bc I love this show! I think the ppl not liking it don’t really understand…
Honestly, Takara reminds me a lot of some of my teenage years. The internal monologue about life and his classmates, as well as his rather stony disposition - which go hand and hand together. I really appreciate it.
And i’ve seen this character type be really popular in chinese wuxias, so Im curious why it’s getting such different treatment here…
Does anyone else think that the Thai actor Khaotung kinda looks like a younger version him? Especially with the current page photo and other photos from this shoot? I think it's the jawline and chin.

Great point about Fah and Sher. Definitely agree.

We just dont have the details yet. Which is common. They probably don't want to take the focus away from their current drama.
Don't know what happened after. Either they shelved it or theyre waiting for actors' schedules to free up or funding.
