I like how FL and ML have that mutual understanding that they can somewhat trust each other even though they are not the closest buddies yet.

Also, it's good to see FL isn't stubborn like a mule and asks for ML's help when it matters.

Since she's confronting XJS in ep 11 with the cliff event, wonder how the dynamic between them will develop into though. As we know with cdrama, there is non zero chance of them reconcilling in the middle part of the story.

So far, she's smart. Pursuing all the clues within her reach, and she knows ML is the only one whom she can somewhat trust in current state of affairs.

Story still doesn't reveal some deeply hidden characters, so those part she can't help for the time being.

I remember when I was watching TPR, the bgm for Su Rongqing and Li Rong's scenes were so dreamy and romantic. So, at the beginning, I was very very confused who the ML was. lmao

I didn't check the cast list of this drama beforehand. And, when I see him on screen as 2ML and his character, I was like "Oh no, here we go again!!!" 🤣🤣🤣

wow, the plot really moves fast...

The 2ML, Chen Heyi, is notoriously famous for his 2ML role in The Princess Royal. (Not because the actor is bad, in fact he was very good and did his assignment perfectly there)

More like because his character Su Rongqing in TPR was very very annoying. And he's reprising a similar clingy and creepy 2ML role in this drama again. So, may be some of the negative sentiment might come from there. 😂😂

As far as I searched, no. I just use Google Lens to translate the subtitles since they got CN subs. Pretty useful for watching those trailers.

Finally picked this up and finished it.

It was like a full course meal. Multiple flavours to keep you invested in the story. My favorite couples were 3rd and 4th sisters.

I liked that the corporate espionage arc in Ep 19 and 20 were a fun respite yet didn't veer off too much from the main plot.

Based on Ep 23 and 24 trailers, their relationship will be put to test amidst these corporate dealings, so I guess the angst will carry on in the story. I hope they can continue balancing the tension and fun elements. I would hate it if the reconcillation come too soon haha
