Age gaps in HL and TFF don't like up with each other. Don't mind about that one.

May be Lighter & Princess. Slow burn romance, first love for each other, good plots, lots of angsts. In terms of roles, Sang Yan is similar to FL there, and Yifan is similar to ML there.

Completely different vibe from TBT. In TFF, there are sweet and funny moments, but there also are heavy, angsty, and lots of emotional moments. It's a slow burn romance with melancholic vibe. In terms of story and characterization, TFF got a lot more layers than TBT for sure.

So, if it's something you might like, give it a try. Try to stick around for at least 5-10 episodes as the story picks up gradually. It's very worth it if you make it to the end!

We don't know how much damage was done by the trolls and haters till now. Like they give 1.0 for no reason at all. Though, as the drama was finished airing, more viewers will come in. So, hopefully the rating will stabilize eventually at it's deserved score.

That dialogue took me out in the novel, and it did again in the drama as well with ZRN's delivery. Encompassing all her love and regrets into a few sentences. It was just so beautiful!

lol, what I was thinking right now as well. I'm reevaluating using TFF and Minglan as benchmarks for modern and costume dramas respectively.

Agreed. TFF has a better wrap up. The way they utilized all the emotions built up throughout the story at the final stretch of episodes was so beautiful. There are many dramas that have beautiful ending, but the emotional payoff in TFF was just next level.

And Wen Yifan with Li Xun as well.

I now view TFF and L&P as gender reversed relative dramas lol 🤣

Watched Lighter and Princess while waiting for new TFF episodes which was both a blessing and curse because it was really damn good as well. And now that I finished both... what the hell do I watch next to fill the void left by these two.. lol
