It’s fitting that a series partly about someone’s trauma ends with EVERYONE reconciling themselves with the world around them.

But the workplace environment and if you recognise certain types from your real life isn't the reason most or…
Maybe the series was marketed as something else. When I started watching, I knew nothing about it and got hooked. Pat’s faces don’t bother me. I only realised they were an issue after reading the comments here. He just strikes me as a kid with a temper forced to grow up and navigate toxic co-workers.

Two well written episodes (which is much more than I can say about all the 9 episodes of A Boss and a Babe): it's funny, people do work, engaging side characters, the main characters have flaws aka they’re human, and everybody acts like a grown-up even when they're being childish. Some people here are missing the romance but I understand the really slow burn. And there's an ex so we're gonna have a triangle. Yes, it's an over-the-top workplace but anyone who's worked at an office can recognize some of those types in the series. Loving it.

Your boss/crush and your ex at the same event is a whole other level of bad luck.

The best BL series of the year? Even when it drags, it’s good, and gosh the cliffhangers! Please episode 10, do not screw this up.

I’m getting tired of guys splashing water at each other on the beach. Really, they don’t even take off their shirts. What’s the point? I miss the time when they would teach the C chord on the guitar. At least it was more romantic.

Look, i saw some people commenting about how everyone is on JaeWoons side when he is an asshole and that what…
Interesting to see that people are thinking of him as a jerk. The therapy scenes made what he is doing perfectly clear to me: he feels guilty, he thinks of his brother, he is terrified of something bad happening to Jihyun, he is shunning Jihyun out of love (or that's what he thinks).

One of the things I like the most about this series is that the villains are mean bastards who don't hold back but still feel very true to life. That what makes the confrontations so satisfying. Kudos to Park Hae In e Jang Young Joon for the amazing work. Heck, the whole cast is great.

So far so good. Snappy dialogue, supporting characters who have a life, workplace dynamics and situations run circles around the other two workplace BL series showing right now (Bed Friend, and especially A Boss and a Babe). But boy the amount of disposable plastic bags in any Thai series freaks me out.

This is probably the first series ever in which the fourth lead only appears in the opening credits.

I would say the major part of why this is shining so much is because there is European input rather than a solely…
Yeah, it's a more naturalistic and cinematic approach. The actors wear more discreet make-up, there are handheld cameras, silence is built on the editing, side characters are more developed, and a BL character finally gets a therapist!!!!!!. It feels like I Told the Sunset About You for Thai BL series: it was a game changer in terms of language and possibilities -– if only others have the means and willingness to follow the lead.

This series gets 11 stars if not for anything just for the scene in which Ji Hyun tastes an iced Americano (not coffee by any definition) and asks in utter disgust “What kind of taste is this?”

(OK. The rest of the series is also 11 stars.)

Title A Shoulder to Cry On Spoiler
They spent six episodes to bring them together past all trauma and hurt just to keep them apart in the finale! Dude, who wrote episode 7? A squeamish 12-year-old??? They go to the beach to spend time together and end up sleeping in a SEATING POSITION in the bed after years apart! The kids from ABOUT YOUTH were more mature than the grown-ups in this finale. On which dimension do male adults behave like this? (Please don’t even think of replying that they’re asexual. That’d be offensive to asexual people.) The last frame of the series is a guy stretching his arm to offer flowers to his lover from such a distance you’d think he is handling uranium. It was a solid, simple, very well-crafted character-driven drama until… I mean, why does episode 7 even exist? Sorry for the rant but this “epilogue” sucked (as if!) for the ages.

Jimmy and Sea fan here currently rewatching Vice Versa for the 4th time.
I had no problem with them. And I thought all the criticism of Jimmy’s acting was misdirected. Just as in here, the problem wasn't the actors; it was the writing.

King, Uea, and at least a million viewers on You Tube had learned several episodes in advance there was an arranged match date that King would attend.

Apparently, King and the writers of this show have incredibly short memory. 🤡
