During the filming Guo Jinming was probably you will have a love interest, even you , all of you will have a love…
Honestly, foreign audiences complain about BE but BE is a sure fire way to be popular. Most of the top Cdramas are BE. If this drama is intending to be a hit maker like it seems, this is a smart strategy and those pairings who feel really tragic might come out on top.
Maybe she will start later this year. I think she’s been busy filming and dealing with the transition of a new…
Yes, it’s really different from the last team. Seems more capable in content creation. Now there’s more posts and videos and live pictures and the quality has been good.
I loved the series even though it was severely cut. The acting from the ML and FL was superb, and the script was…
I love this show too. I love Yezi to death and the chemistry of the lead couple. I feel like I’ve never seen this dynamic done so well before. YXM really dotes on Yezi but also ensures she can survive on her own in a relatively safe way. It’s so rare to see that I really can’t stand what editors did to this show and how it affected the actors😭
can anyone tell me other good romance historical drama or movie?? thankyouu ( its so hard to find good one after…
You will have to watch older Cdramas. This kind of character depth and portrayal doesn’t really exist anymore. Some similar ones are Royal Nirvana and Rise of the Phoenixes. If you like fantasy Love and Destiny is also quite good.
This page is littered with nutty fans of one of the leads who react and spit venom to the production especially…
Meh, it’s just venting and tbh this page is a lot calmer than the Weibo side. It’s mostly just concern for actor’s wellbeing rather than stuff like hair and makeup or fighting for first billing. Following a Cdrama from its embryonic stage will usually have these types of comments but they just don’t make it to overseas sites very much. With foreign fans becoming savvier and bridging the gap, this will be more likely. GJM is indeed controversial for various reasons. But that said, there must be reasons why these stars want to work with him. And those reasons come with a cost. He’s not a drama director. He’s from movies where directors have a lot more control over all aspects. He also has his own built-in fanbase. This means he can and might be more demanding than the usual less powerful drama director. Wong Kar Wai took 3 years to film Flowers and there were complaints about its deadline too but the results have been very successful for an online broadcast. That said though, I don’t think it’s out of line to criticise production (I think rumors are out of line though). Stars get criticised all the time on MDL for elements that often have to do with production. Yet so few are willing to acknowledge how much production affects the quality of a show. In fact, I think this tendency to put all the blame on stars and ignore the shortcomings of the crew is partially why Cdrama is in the bottleneck situation it’s in now. So, if it’s in reason think it’s fine that some of the responsibility/criticism falls on the crew too.
A fan posted a more complete video of Xiao Ran’s start-up look. Reposting because it has better closeup shots and less face distortion because there’s less zoomed in shots: https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4997434579353720
It’s at least S but I can’t remember if it’s S+ but tbh the production cost grade is meaningless nowadays. All last year was full of S+ duds. It’s better to look at the actual drama crew and their past work if you want to see the quality of the drama.
These two had really great chemistry but the show basically cut most of those scenes and only released some tidbits.…
Tbh most of the chemistry laden scenes were looks or expressions, not kiss scenes so I don’t get why they cut them. I posted some links below if you’re interested:
Some very clever writing here and delicious characters. Only a few brief lip-touch kisses with no passion or energy…
These two had really great chemistry but the show basically cut most of those scenes and only released some tidbits. The chemistry in those tidbits was so good that they built most of the hype😂. But when it aired those scenes were gone. I think it was to make it safe for TV airing but it dulls the effect. For example, the kiss under the tree was actually two successive kisses that were super cute with Jiman coming away the first time sort of crossed eyed by it and NYX unable to resist such a cute expression and kissing her again but was cut into one blander kiss.
Popularity for actresses doesn’t work that way. They generally have to have series of successful shows. Tbh…
Actors generally do but actresses usually don’t. They may have a show that makes them a hit but it’s usually after a series of shows or to maintain it, they have to produce more hits/popular shows.
