Nah, this is a comedy and the original book has a super happy ending so there’s very little chance of a sad ending out of nowhere. If it follows the book, it will end after the birth of their second child.

Haha and the scene everyone’s tearing up looks like it was done on purpose to attract Tucao attention. The showrunners obviously know which cut works since they’re the ones who sent out the edit to the marketing pages in the first place😂.

Mostly through the first episode and I’m here for it. The first episode of Cdramas are usually boring and the worst in terms of everything but except for a few small blips with overuse of zoom effects, a few camera angles, and some mini cuts, I feel this show is off to a good start. It starts off on a fast pace but it’s still easy to follow and gets the background of the story told quick and cleanly. The plot actually worked to segue back into some of the events/feelings of the book without it being ridiculous.

They had to adapt because transmigration is not allowed so they changed it to an evil twin storyline but after watching the first episode, it seems to streamline back into the plot where it can.

I think it’s Jiman’s father refusing the request for marriage.
