She’s really levelled up. About your question… I never listen to talk about her not being popular because she seems to have a hidden fanbase in both China and overseas. I’ve been blown away by some of the stats I’ve seen for her. It’s just not the traditional diehard fanbase that producers look for.
I think she’s still with Deyang. Yehua was just for dramas. She’s probably okay as she’s increasing staff and said she’s gotten wider access to scripts after Blood River.
She’s been on “break” but she pushed a drama to do Sisters Who Make Waves so it’s not like she didn’t have anything going into the show. I think at this point for her, it’s about finding a good opportunity and chance to break through.
i wasn't expecting much when i started this, but its a solid watch so far. i like how the fml and ml relationship…
Yeah, there’s this weird hyper focus on the relationship not being perfect but the drama is actually showing us how complicated a relationship in the palace can be and how hard it can be to regain trust once it’s lost.
I see her and I wonder, if this going to be a tragedy? Except for her looks, I remember her acting skills are…
😂 lol, this is the first time I’ve seen someone trash her GMP performance. Beyond the tears, it’s pretty much a textbook level performance of a silly, white sweet character. Even haters and anti-fans don’t usually touch it.
I love this FL. She is complex and imperfect and naive but also smart, determined and kind. It's rare to have…
Yeah, it’s really weird how people are reducing her down to the romance. Other than not currently being so into Xiao Huan because of the past and his lack of answers, she’s actually trying to be a good empress and daughter. She also hasn’t denied Xiao Huan when he really needs her. Everyone is putting the blame on her for the misunderstanding but it’s Xiao Huan who broke her trust and it’s Xiao Huan who won’t give her the truth.
The villain here is Ling Xue Feng, not Xiao Huan. He states the only way the Crown Prince can ascend the throne…
I saw the first episode. No matter what tricks Ling Xue Feng played, Xiao Huan still forced Cangcang to marry him. Yes, he wants to be king but why must Cangcang give up her freedom for it? Why is her freedom less important than Xiao Huan’s desire to be king?
It’s a messy couple and a messy situation. In the book they still have misunderstandings even though they’ve been together for years and have 5 kids😂 Their charm is watching them get back together because they really do love each other but are truly opposites attract.
They changed a lot of the book in the drama which is a good thing cause the book’s original plot was terrible🙂↕️That might be why I’m so lenient… I know what the script had to work with😅 I’ve read bits of the script though and things will eventually get better between Xiao Huan and Cangcang for awhile.
😭😭😭😭 D*mn, I really love this show. Episode 9 and 10 felt just like the book with the whiplash switch between sweetness and bitterness. But I think all the bitterness makes the sweet moments really sweet.
Glad to see Cangcang is still scheming😂 Gotta love the reverse quality control👍 And Xiao Ran is absolutely killing it in the acting department. She really levelled up again. The crying scenes are on another level and none of them are the same.
I'd say, she loves her adopted brother more than ML . Wait till she knows the real villian. Then, it's all too…
Yeah, this. It really wrecks the mood of watching the drama too. Do people really only want to watch 1 dimensional Mary Sue/Gary Stu dramas with vanilla relationships that have no development, transformation, or growth? Subtle acting seems to be hard for some to pick up. But I think it’s because people only half watch shows and don’t pay enough attention.
if i were ling cang cang, i would also hate him after he gave birth control medicine.no wonder there are so many…
It should be that. It was a plot point in the book too. The show gives it a better context but it’s still a really humiliating and hurtful experience for Cangcang.
Right he clearly has no bottom line. The ML knows it's his intention to rebel and seize the throne so why not…
She’s staying Empress out of loyalty to her family. She didn’t want to be empress in the first place but was threatened into it. And even if she ran, what good would it do? She would more than likely be chased down just like the beginning.
This!! Walk a mile in someone’s shoes “ CangCang was deceived and used since she was young by her family but…
Xiao Huan is not a villain but neither is Cangcang. Why should she toss aside the family that raised her for a man she’s only known for a few years who has been lying to her? If there can be compassion for all of Xiao Huan’s troubles there should be compassion for Cangcang as well.
Co-sign! People want her to be grateful but forget that he was the one that approached her with an agenda and…
Right? The double standards are annoying. There’s all these comments in support of Xiao Huan but they don’t look Xiao Huan to me. He would hate it here😭 We finally get a ML who recognises that he is going to upend the FL’s life and it’s getting overrun by pickmeisha thinking🙂↕️
