What do you mean?? I thought it was CGI? There's no why they used a real cat filming that scene, right?
It was a real cat. But let's not let this influence watching the drama. I've read someone else's defense for drama, she tot everyone is bashing the production on this, and tried to view it from an unbiased angle... Cats are very good at playing dead, altho the cat performance look unnatural we should give the crew the benefit of the doubt as they have attempt to clear the air and got an interview with cat owner. It is unthinkable they would kill a cat for that scene... how did they even got license to air if an animal really died during production?
That cat poisoning controversy though. The scene does look very realistic but I just brushed it off, thinking…
Ya..... the cat standing up alive after its scene would have been the best proof. If the cat is alive, it deserves a best guest actor award, the way it moved was very un-cat-like..... what on earth was the production thinking?? Is that scene really necessary in the storytelling? Even without it, I think it could have gone on.... Just talked about the cat's death in dialogues if they must
Hahahaha.... True but you missed out the most important:- influence others and grow more fans for your bias. And on a smaller scale:- create video edits of your bias and share them (YouTube, Bilibili- if chinese). Just like writing articles, content generation \o/
Christopher Lee is Malaysian-Singaporean and it shows in this drama ^^". I watched him in other TW dramas and those weren't too bad, maybe becos they were more family, romance oriented. They probably should have got a TW voice actor to dub him. Chris tried tho, his acting is good as Captain but using his own voice does feel a bit off for his character.
It hasn't release yet xD release date in Taiwan is Nov 24th and in Singapore it is Dec 2nd \o/. You should be able to find it online in Dec or Jan 2022.... takes a while for a copy to leak to free sites

I really enjoy this drama as it is. There are other dramas/movies that features badass female assassins, while this takes the same setup but give a different spin to the story, by having an idealistic FL who refuse to compromise her beliefs. It is also interesting to watch her and Cha Luo, as story hints in dialogues asking would FL eventually become like Cha Luo? Drama has very thoughtful dialogues, which can be applicable in real life.... Lol, it is one of my fav dramas ❤️

True, the drama is quite dark. Why I compare it to fairytale is becos FL never becomes the badass assassin that some viewers want... She maintains her integrity and moral beliefs throughout, like in fairytales-- Snow White, The Little Mermaid, The Snow Queen, etc
Thank you!! It is such a delight to read this list ❤️. I have forgotten that I saw Almost Human until I see your list. Silent Forest is really quite dark and made me wanna 'flip the table' few times.... Love Will Tear Us Apart 👍 I've seen both the movies (the other one with Ni Ni and FSF) and yes, the one you list is much better. I haven't seen Wild Grass, but the poster reminds me of Lost, Indulgence https://kisskh.at/20368-lost-indulgence. The movie isn't great but a fascinating watch to see young Sandra Ma and Tan Jianci with Karen Mok in same film ;) And 1 more movie I like to rec is Miao Miao https://kisskh.at/1860-miao-miao. Altho the rating doesn't look great, I've given this 9/10 (and wrote a review why). This movie is about exploration of your feelings in your first loves, and it focus on that, none of the loves were requited. I think it is very beautifully done and representative of that youthful first pangs of love.
It is (interesting plot)!! A chinese reviewer compared this to The Bad Kids and Long Night. I'm at ep 4 and it already revealed so many details that I'm intrigued how it can maintain 32 eps?! The book author is part of the scriptwriting team, so there should be some good stuffs later that they need 32 eps for.... Let's hope it gets subs soon
