I've watched up to ep 10 and the story is getting more serious now. If they can resolve FL problems well (hopefully not a fantastical happy ending), this drama might be this year's 'dark horse'. Mmm as for commercials in China, a lot of products/services commission for such 6 - 10 min long advertisements. Ads can run at TV channels or on screens at malls or in trains... These are good starting point for budding directors, and extra income for not-too-established directors

I am at ep 8 (I dun need subs) and this is not a simple fantasy rom-com. Story gets deep and reflective on life after ep 4 or 5. Comedy is still there, but well balance with meaningful and thoughtful dialogues. The other thing that I really like, is how the 3 couples are not people that look like couples visually. But with the director's cinematography, we gradually start to get the CP feel. I think this director should do more romance, he has a good sense of art direction in romance. He can project the CP feel on a pair who don't look convincing as a couple 👍👍 And that is quite admirable. Butterfly Effect is one of the best time traveling + "try to fix things" movies!! I was disappointed when the fortune teller showed up in Love You Forever, that is copied from Butterfly Effect... You should watch Be With You (Japanese) if you haven't, that is one of the most heartfelt time traveling romance story 🥺

Okay... Do reconsider tho, I am not a fan of romance genre, but this is quite well done in this drama!! This is the 1st time that I grinned for an entire episode while watching a cdrama.... Can't quite explain, you will understand when you watch it ^^"

Yessss I adore the 2017 version. And personally, I feel Hu Ge has a clever face, although he is a good actor, he didn't convince me as the blockhead Guo Jing 😅
