I dun think anyone can answer this question.... I've some frens who prefer Crime Crackdown. For me I saw 2 eps of Crime Crackdown and decide this is better. I prefer action and more individualistic storytelling, Crime Crackdown is more of a thinker's drama and more scatter in the storytelling.
for me its a miss or win situation till now there is no serious romance nor the main leads are having good coordination
If you like crime + undercover then this is worth watching! Romance is a very minor line in the plot.... There are some teases and rom-com clichés, that can do for the missing romance line ;)

But he also posted a photo of a car that he saw in Japan that displayed Japanese military emblem at his weibo.... and one of his parents' company names resemble Japanese and it is said the company had quite a few Japanese investors.
