I wonder if I should watch this C-drama. I am here looking for something fun and sweet and interesting because…
Have you watch Once Upon a Time on Ling Jian Mountain? That is my "happy place" drama ^^. Douluo Continent is a good drama too, exciting plot with comedy, and the few fight scenes are quite well done.
Yes true. But she will sacrifice herself to Tang San because tang san also sacrifice himself for her. The event…
This part is quite similar to Ashes of Love. If you have seen it.... not exactly die, but become part of him. Not sure if drama is heading this direction however!!
I found Go Back Couple was a very realistic and still romantic take on "Married with small children".
Thank you for the addition!! Hmm, it has time-travelling too ^^" It is interesting that the Chinese dramas that I listed do not have time travelling element in the plot (2 of the dramas are released before SARFT banned time travelling in cdramas...) while kdramas like to add time traveling in married couple dramas
Congrats on this article!! It is very sweet & full of love ^^
Just want to point out that there are dramas on marriage and married couples... but this topic ain't popular (kdramas love to mix in affairs and time traveling). A few dramas that I know of:--
Blazing Academy won against Shrek Academy? I was really looking forward to this competition arc and it got butchered.…
I finally watch ep 33... maybe screenwriter wants make them appear less invincible? The group has been together for a very short time and most are new to their powers. Getting overconfident and making a tactical judgement error, actually makes sense.
If we can put aside the novel/manga that this is adapted from, put that completely aside, and look at this drama…
Oh, about the "titan ape", the extra actor who was hired to wear the costume (he is 2.1m+ tall, abt 6 feet 10"), made a weibo post on his experience. Poor guy had to show up for make-up by 4am to be ready for morning shoot. Maybe director wanted to shoot the cast interacting with the ape (we do not know how many scenes were actually shot) and made the decision to use actor instead of CGI.
If we can put aside the novel/manga that this is adapted from, put that completely aside, and look at this drama as it is, do you think it is a good drama? I think it is!! Although plot developments and CGI can be further improved... Still an above average fantasy wuxia drama
Hello!! You are here too! **hi5 emoji**. Lol! The production team for this drama confuse me.... On one hand, it…
Yes ^^" they use similar music here, but not so much. I like the addition of 80s-style songs. Lol, yes, Tarantino does that too, music that clash with the setting.
Hello!! You are here too! **hi5 emoji**. Lol! The production team for this drama confuse me.... On one hand, it…
No worries! I was referring to background music ^^ JoL does not use the typical historical Chinese music, but has guitar, saxophone, etc in its background music. Usually the main musical instruments in historical settings are flute, gu qin, etc..

Haha... You probably don't read feeds, I posted a YT clip of one of the "worst" bgm moments in JoL... I dropped JoL initially too... but so many peepz are full of praise for the drama so I managed to reattempt and finish it recently. When you ignore the bgm in JoL, it is truly a masterpiece!! In terms of the plot, script, acting, etc JoL is very good. I think that music director is trying to revitalise history dramas or something ^^". He has a 'unique' take on the music, attempting a Picasso or similar ^^"
This is hilarious - they recycled some of the costumes from Qing Qing Zi Jin and possibly even from In A Class…
Hello!! You are here too! **hi5 emoji**. Lol! The production team for this drama confuse me.... On one hand, it has JoL feel but director and screenwriter are not same, even the music does not feel to be the work of same music director's.... feel like they borrowed 1 or 2 bgms... What do you think?
Hi! I haven't watched The Victim's Game before, but after reading the synopsis of TVG, I would presume that that…
Ah, you don't get me becos you haven't seen TVG... On the surface TVG is a crime, mystery and suspense drama, but in truth it ain't that much different from The Silent Forest. TVG at its core is about the evil in people, how their actions can break others, push others to extreme desperations.... It centers on 1 impt social topic, which I can't say as it gives the plot away.... TSF is also focus on a social topic. And you know, when watching social msg plots, it like gripe your heart and make it difficult to watch. TVG was a most difficult to watch drama, although I'm glad I watched it.... The way they worked on the social topic, convey the message was so good. I know TSF will do well in the storytelling, and that based on a true story tag interests me... my fear is how difficult is it to sit through the movie?
Civil war fight scene from which drama? Or you mean from.anime itself?
ah, I see. I really enjoyed that fight scene, and starting to understand why they didn't do the earlier fights... It is expensive and manpower- consuming to choreograph such fights, save the budget for the impt fights
