Drama can never match anime. Anime has no limits for actions sequence, and less regulations and restrictions. However eps 23 and 24 of drama are really quite good. In terms of the fight scenes and team spirit showed

But I end up letting the drama play while I Google for the music director.... that was so unexpected (rofl emojis if I can insert here). Sorry, I really need to talk about that scene... just waiting for everyone else to catch up to ep 21

Hi! Finally see a comment that agrees with my thoughts, lol! Neo and YCY is my least fav couple too.... mainly because Neo comes across as too superficial. I'm not sure if he is the most vain among the 3 men, but his perfectly styled hair (even early in the morning) puts me off. As an actor though, I do believe he has the most potential among the 3 men. But as a participant in a "reality" show, he is too self conscious and diplomatic.

Random watch this show and I dunno why so many ppl like HH and YY pairing? I watch from ep 1 and feel Neo (HH) is too smooth, even their love script has quite a bit of other successful romance plots in (Sunshine of the Spotless Mind + Someday or One Day). Neo preferred Qin Lan at the beginning, I think becos she is the most experienced actress and he wanted a chance to learn more from her, and he thought pairing up with her would have higher chance at winning. I dunno... but out of the 6, Neo comes across as the most superficial to me. But I'm still in ep 5, so maybe he actually loosen up and get more real later?

I like Yitong-Yilin pairing. It feels like good friends but their conversation exchange is the most real and genuine. Their love story script is not original too, but at least it does not take inspiration from successful productions. It has elements of Taiwan, Malaysia and Bollywood in it ^^" Which feels more real and honest becos an average, working-class person in China would have watched a few productions from these countries and it isn't far-fetch to have these in the average man's daydreams....

Qin Lan & Jasper... I think it is mostly Qin Lan's wishes written into the script (her dream script). And Jasper is just in awe of her.... other then the super sweet first meet, their subsequent interactions feel "camp" like... Like 2 strangers paired up in a Big Brother setting.

Just browsing through MDL top rated movies and am in disbelief that this movie is on the list, but not its original Japanese Be With You!!...... The original had so much more heart! Maybe this adaptation has better cinematography but look at the year this is released in, versus the original....

I tot that was an ironic reference to FL, and maybe hint that ML might be aware much earlier that FL is not a man? It is a comedy \o/ don't think the scriptwriters thought that much of the line...

Don't know what to say... 节哀顺变。。The donghua is quite long and they didn't plan on having so many eps. This is the condensed version... As for character assassination.. quite a lot of novel characters become sweet and more naive in dramas. My most horrifying experience was with The Rise of Phoenixes (leads in novel are almost polar opposites to drama, but if they had shot exactly per novel, it would not have passed censorship).... So -_-"

CCTV..... I watched My Best Friend's Story earlier, it aired at CCTV too. All the slap scenes were axed in the CCTV version **facepalm**. Now they are re-releasing MBFS with additional eps at another satellite channel.... Not sure if this is the case for DC too? I'm pissed if it is... But I wouldn't mind rewatching if there's additional fight scenes -_-"
