The mutation experiment is only his idea and he never discussed with the others, so he alone "poisoned" everyone else and Ma Hong Jun and his father suffered the most... Hence the other villagers turned into chickens to act as spies and to guard the village, as they are under the Village Chief's command?
2) Under normal circumstances, is it possible for a soul human to be born with soul ring? That seems to be the implication in Ma Hong Jun's case... Was MHJ born with soul ring hence when he touched the phoenix he gained 1 soul ring and got 2 now?
3) Where did that fire phoenix came from? Or was he touching his own soul phoenix?
4) The alternate space that MHJ's father created.... He was supposed to have lost his senses when he burnt down the house.
