Tbh I m not happy with the emotional pairing of Suo Suo and her boss. Suo Suo never had a father figure in her life hence mistake his fatherly care for love, while the boss has a sad story too, which is why he is showing her extra care... Even Xie Hong Zhu is not love, more like infatuation and "bc you reject me, I want you more".

While Nan Sun and her ex, and with Wang Yong Zheng, both can be considered love. Her men have thought through and really want to marry her.

But the FL is only 3 years older than ML....?

Watching him in Who's the Murderer (S6), almost couldn't recognize him! Have seen him mostly in ice-cold roles, first time in such relaxed mode. Wide smiles and all, lol

I haven't paid attn to the phrase engraved at the tombstone... Like you pointed out, it is weird that Chen Si light the incense, Yuan as the last "surviving family" should be the one lighting it. Becos of the extended shot focusing on the names at the tombstone, I tot it is Chen Si's imagination that the tombstone only has their mother and Fang's name. There is sufficient space between the 2 names... What if Yuan's name was there to, but Chen Si chose not to see his name there....

That last gunshot confrontation with Bai Army was very unreal. It could be that both detectives had perished in the gun fire too...

The ending reminds me of The Bad Kid ^.^"

But hey, what do you think of that weird "circle of light" scene in the cave, that Yuan fell into the hole as a child?

Hi Labcat! You have written really well, it summarizes the drama. There are only few different points that I have..... for me, the ending is Yuan has died (when he fainted after the dual with Fang). Chen Si visited the tomb alone (and instead of their mother's name, it is Yuan's and Fang's birth names at the tombstone. because their mother already died so many years ago, where to find her body for burial?). Chen Si was alone in the car, imagining Yuan is seated next to her. She had always wanted him to drink tea, so imagined him to be drinking tea (I haven't noticed the pocket watch is missing, instead the hot glass bottle that he held with bare hands was very illogical to me). Maybe when I have some time later, will attempt to write a review ^^ It is still an above average drama in spite of the plot holes

Lol... I tried, but drop it after ep 2. Really like the ML (Love from the Stars) but the story just doesn't "grab" me. There's another popular drama from last year that I dropped: Ancient Detective. I've had 3 attempts at it, and reached ep 6... but the plot couldn't inspire any interest in me, no chemistry feel from the actors... even fell asleep trying to watch Ancient Detective -_-"

Have just finished watching the last 2 eps. They went the inception route but nicely done. At least they didn't leave it open-ended, I like the complete and satisfactory ending. I especially like the last scene... It shows a happy ending yet there was something unsettling about it, lol or maybe I was wishing there's more XD

Oh, the Italy part. I have thought they would just say she went away and came back. That is some clever editing work... Probably hired a videographer in Italy to take the scenery shots. Drama is said to be shot in April to July last year. With covid, it was not possible to travel there.
