Glad to find 1 more viewer for DD :) oh, I might be presumptuous that it does not use unreliable narrator in the plot, but we are 6 eps away from finale and I don't get the vibe it would use unreliable narrator in the plot twist... More like hidding scenes from what has been shown. And the crime cases in the plot is quite similar to A Murderous Affair in Horizon Tower, it reflects society prejudices and injustice but with less dramatic effects

Hi, sorry to cut into the convo (lol) but do watch DREAM DETECTIVE !!! Psych Hunter is good too, but a bit too much of a crowd pleaser (similar to My Roommate is a Detective). Dream Detective.... let's just say my mystery suspense drama of the year is uncertain. As DD is still airing, waiting to see the ending ;)

We have alot of unreliable narrator(s) this year. I like that DD go back to the old fashion mystery writing:- "Okay folks, you saw the first few eps, place your bets on who is/are the mastermind(s). Now watch me kill off the suspect 1-by-1 and let's see which of you got it right?" diabolical laughter from the scriptwriters.... Lol, that is only my imagination. Waiting for eps get so hard when it is a mystery drama...

All I was thinking in that episode is: how is he not arrested and kicked out of school?? Agreed, your suggestion is sweeter and better.

Psych Hunter sounds like My Roommate is a Detective. Psych Hunter is peppered with comedy, and we cannot feel the chemistry between ML and FL.... lol

I'm suspecting the small police officer (Dou Zi). But I don't think he is the main masked man, probably an accomplice. At douban, most are suspecting Doctor Fang, because of his name. Fang = Square; Yuan = Circle .... Although Yuan Bu Jie is also a suspect becos of his lost memories.

I watched the 1st ep because of the title... and very glad that I have!! Would be pursuing this drama ^^ A very sweet and innocent young love told in a very simple cinematography. Such simplicity is rare in dramas these days. Yes, she has terminal illness, but I don't mind the eventual sad ending

Lol, different preference I guess... Definitely agree if the drama had been released in 2017 it would have been more successful.And it is a missed opportunity for Li Qin. If this was released in 2017, her popularity would have skyrocketed!! She is so pretty and such a good actress in the drama

Finished the drama. It is weak in the "whodunit" part, but excellent storytelling, pacing and shocking in the social themes, and the depths it went....

It is a pity this drama is overshadowed by The Bad Kid and The Long Night....

My goodness!!! Kept this on my PTW since September, but never got around to watching it becos of other dramas. Now at ep 5 and I think I might stay up tonight to finish it! It is DARN AWESOME mystery suspense drama. If the plot pace maintain until last ep, this might be the best drama in 2020 for me **hearts**

It really depends on how much of a fan are you with the original manga? I guess hairstyles and dressing cannot be closely followed because it is set in China and not Japan. But it is a good adaptation of the core story.
